Hi all

 

I am thinking of buying a new payware add-on. I have most of the top tier stuff. Beach duchess, falco, MU2.

 

I was wondering which planes mostly work with xpx 64, the 337 doesn't yet, which is frustrating, but i was wondering if some of the older//less complex ones do.

 

I am looking for a speedy twin or single that's full IFR.

 

If you know of any others too, I would love to hear about them.

I think they all work, it's certain aspects of them that need to be tweaked yet by the developer to be fully functional in 64 bit . Timetable for that, nobody is sure.

I don't think any of them do because they use SASL. The only aircraft that I know of that work with 64bit is the FlyJSim 727, JRollon Jetstream and his CRJ only from the .org.

Carenado planes, I can assure you they work, I have 3 of them. There's issues with sound, and 2d click spots, and the look of the props. Some you can take care of yourself, others you can't.

The Carenado's mostly work but there will be little glitches ( primarily graphical).

I emailed them a couple weeks ago asking about the promised patch for xp 10 and they told me when 64 bit becomes stable they hope to have a patch soon after. Until/if reality xp issues a patch for the 430 it won't be ifr for me.

I'll check later when at my machine but I know the bonanzas work except the prop arc is funny, and I get some wired flashing texture when looking at the wingtip. Then strange things sometimes pop up with an update such as excessive roll.

I have the F33A Bonanza, C172N Skyhawk 2 , and the PA34 200T Seneca 2.

 

Haven't flown them for a while.

 

The Seneca had sound issues, swapped sound folders with one of the other aircraft. The click spots didn't work either in the Seneca.

 

All of them, if I recall correctly, needed the prop texture deleted, forcing Xplane to use the default prop. Besides that they worked fine, from what I remember. Not on my sim computer, so can't check right now.

I can confirm as I too own 3 of them.

I have three that work as well ...

I have the C152, C172, Bonanza F33 and the Skymaster.

 

I can tell you that the C152,172, and F33 work, but have graphical glitches, e.g. The prop animation doesn't work and also some of the click spots don't work. But they're perfectly flyable.

 

The skymaster is really broken, it's sticks you in a strange view looking at the back of the pilot's head, and makes it really difficult to fly. Hopefully as soon as 10.20 is stable, Carenado will release the updated SASL libraries

We've all been waiting for quite some time for Carenado to make their fleet 100% XP10 compatible. I just hope it's a free update.
