February 4, 201313 yr Hi there, I'm new to FSX and AVSIM, I hope I'm not doing anything wrong. A few pics of the VRS F/A-18E And the related video I made : http://forum.avsim.n...sx-carrier-ops/
February 4, 201313 yr Welcome to Avsim! Great shots, thanks for sharing. But if I'm allowed to say something: I wouldn't have presented the very last one, where you can see the plane goes straight into the carrier deck. I know that it's not your fault, but how FSX tends to handle carrier landings, but it simply doesn't look that great. Flo Florian

I must say that last one was the best and put a smirk on my face and a silent little "ahhh-yep... been there, done that" ran through my head.
February 4, 201313 yr Welcome to AVSIM and the Screen Shots Forum. I like the entire series. I especially like the time lapse collage of the last image. Keep on Posting!! Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules

February 5, 201313 yr Author Thanks a lot guys  But if I'm allowed to say something: I wouldn't have presented the very last one, where you can see the plane goes straight into the carrier deck. I know that it's not your fault, but how FSX tends to handle carrier landings, but it simply doesn't look that great. Well, that collage was just for fun. It's actually my very first successfull (=not killing myself) trap landing with the VRS Superbug  Great shots. What carrier is that ? It's the outstanding USS Eisenhower by Javier Fernandez, freeware ! The situation in the last image looks uncomfortable. . . . lol, I think carrier landing are uncomfortable, no matter what For us, going from +/- 200 Km/h to 0 in less than 2 seconds is called a crash. For Navy pilots it's just another trap landing. Thanks again for all the nice comments !
February 5, 201313 yr Very nice! Great humour in the last shot! Happy Flying, Clem Wu Beta Tester for OZx, Iris Simulations and Shade.
