Can someone point me in the direction where to find sid and star procedures preferably free I know you can get ones for the usa but would like other parts of the world but can't seem to find much

register at http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/publicuser/public/pu/login.jsp for free, and you will get almost all up to date european charts onboard. Thats official eurocontrol site.

For the US, skyvector is one of the best places there is. They provide real world charts for free, so there might be some different freqs for some approaches, but I don't the procedures have changed in the past seve years, so all of those charts should be usable for FSX, too. At least, I haven't had any problems with skyvector charts. Also, there's a lot of addons that actually come with dedicated FS charts.

Another way to go is to search the airport name and/or ICAO code + SID STAR charts. You'll get the plates for many airports this way.

Otherwise simply use google.

 

Ex: google ''KSFO charts''...or wotever ICAO you want and it usually brings up the charts everytime.

This is the best option for European charts in my experience. These are the official charts, always up-to-date and free
