February 18, 201313 yr Commercial Member Yes Dave I am going to stop. I'll do the mature thing and not comment further. Cool. The things which separate us are much less than the things that bring us together. I love people who are passionate about our hobby, I really do! They are often the ones who push us further into exploring and finding new and tremendous ways to get more out of MSFS. Thanks to both of you guys. February 20, 201313 yr Author well, everybody here is going absolutely OFFTOPIC. fallback ONTOPIC, and i can happily say that i solved my overclocking problems. re-summarizing my specs: cpu: Intel quad core duo extreme QX9650 motherboard: Nviida 780i gpu: GTX 295 ram: 8 GB windows 7 64-bit ultimate Now from 3ghz to 4ghz i can see a very good increase of +15/ +18 fps. Now i run @ 40-50 fps in low-normal density areas, and 28-30 in very high density. FSX + UTX + GEX + REX, settings quite all maxed out @ 4088px X 800px triple displays bezel corrected + bloom (wich i love). I made A LOT of things to get it, but the most important was: switching to DX10 (using STEVE'S fixes) and using old version 301 nvidia drivers (following NICKN'S settings, apart from VSync wich i left "unlimited").
February 20, 201313 yr Yep!.. for me, the worst parts in FSX is listed below. Seattle JFK NYC area Vancouver Mexico city Sao paulo These places are an absolute nightmare to fly in. They are the real FPS killers!! Lionel
