It all depends on whether P3D V2.0 will be 32 or 64 bits. If it remains 32 bits, it will have no future in the entertainment mass market (i.e. us).

My intuition tells me that V2.0 is still years away...

Other may have a different opinion on this. I believe for new pilots and those still in training, ATC communication is one of the greatest challenges. And yet, for a simulator given all types of accolades, XP is severly lacking in that area. Maybe it will be addressed one day.

64 bit is great but my sig below is what I require to be useful.

I care more about land class resembling reality, ability to simulate a rw ifr gps, fm's that allow one to maintain ifr proficiency, rw weather effects, and the eye candy immersion that fills in the gaps between a motionless desktop and the real thing...

This is exactly why I'm not enjoying XP to its full extent.

I always find it strange when they say they have no idea what they will be working on next. Everyone else seems to have an opinion about what they want but the guys making it have no idea what they might do from one increment to the next.

I am confused if they are working form a roadmap but they dont know which part of it they will tackle from point release to point release or if they do not have a roadmap at all?

I could understand iif they have a roadmap but they dont have it all prioritised and work out at each point release what they want to tackle. Thats not so bad but how can you work efficently to your end goal if you dont have one?

This can be changed pretty easily, sky colors are just a texture.

You could try one of these modified skycolors:

Thanks,

The lastest version from NeroFlyer seems good. I'll try it out

I have strong reasons to believe that they're going to improve that in X-Plane 10.30.

Now, the 'Final' one is very realistic! Thanks
