Looking for 737 NGX Checklist

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I just purchased and did the first tutorial on this great plane. I am wondering if there are any consolidated checklists?

What type of checklist do you use for normal operations for all phases of the flight?

thank you.

I had to put my own one together I found the ones in the manuals pretty crap haha

You'll find the approved-by-Boeing Normal Checklists in the appropriately titled "Normal Checklists" chapter in the QRH (starting on page 25 in the PDF).

Hi, this is a post from Charles Blankenship in the NGX threads a few weeks ago. It is very good.  See what you think.
"This is a freebie that can be downloaded from the AVSIM library ... I put it together quickly for people just like you to get a quick feel for the cockpit and bringing it from Cold and Dark to Cold and Dark. It isn't a high dollar production (the images are external to the document ... I did this for efficiency)
Also, if you own Electronic Flight Bag I just finished transcribing these steps into the EFB Checklist option ... you can request a copy at PMGG737NGXCDtoCD AT gmail DOT com.

That said, this thread has piqued my interest in FS2Crew ... going to have to check that out.

Hi,

I've designed numerous Flows/Checklists that are available here on AVSIM, here is the link to the Boeing 737NGX series aircraft.

http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=170680

If you need an aditional hints from the flow/checklist, just do a search for my last name  "Swannick"  in the AVSIM library, it will show all my checklists/flows.

Hope you find this useful.

Michael,

That checklist was wonderful ... and concise ... nice work.

If you want to operate NGX realistically, grab the normal checklist as mentioned by Lek767 above. Have a quick read of the Operations Manual Vol 1 (FCOM1) about scan flows. In addition you can printout, iPadize or EFBize the FCOM1 Normal Amplified Amplified procedures. These should be done from memory. All that information comes with NGX.

It does require a modicum of work, but this isn't as difficult as it seems, the aircraft is designed to be operated as such and I'm sure the experience will be more rewarding too.

Thank you, all.

Happy flying.

I am not experienced with the B737, but the B747 QRH normal checklists are very concise, and fit comfortably (10-point font, 1.5 line spacing) on one sheet of A5 or 5.5 × 8.5" paper—they seem much briefer than many modified versions are.

For my purposes, I modified the QRH normal checklists to include items I occasionally forget, such as switching anti-ice and lights on and off. I suggest that you start with the QRH normal checklists and modify them as required (without significantly changing their intended function).

For you guys that have Android phone or tablet, I can but recommend Yeno checklist application, very nice. I have made me a 737 set I could send you.
