Graphical bugs, dx9, please help!

Featured Replies

FSX with DX9 doesn't work properly. Every aircraft has the same problem. I only have these graphics problems with DX9.

Please take a look: http://youtu.be/gm78fleFq1s

Everything was ok and it changed some day.

FSX with DX10 runs well, but I get less frame rates and I want to keep my FSX with DX9.

Specs:

i7 3770K @ 4.5GHz

Cooled by the Corsair H110

Asrock Z77 OC Formula

Gigabyte HD 7970 @ 1080 Mhz

16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 8-8-8-24

Corsair 1050 W Power Supply

W7 64 bits Pro

Thanks for your help

FSX  with DX9.0.c works perfectly

I suggest your apparent  problems with it are due to problems with your system

Hello,

Thanks for the fast post.

It works without any problem with DX10. FSX was working perfectly with DX9 since yesterday, I "repaired" FSX with the CDs, but nothing changed. I've deleted the fsx.cfg, again, nothing changed.

I was wondering if it was something related to the Shaders, or a missing file?

I exclude a hardware problem because it works great with DX10.

Hello,

The video above has been made with DX9. I know that there are too many problems with DX10, that's why I want to stay with DX9 and why I'm posting this...

My system runs very well with everything on max, three displays Full HD, PMDG 737-800, EzdoK, REX etc and hard sceneries....

So why did this bug appear suddently?

Didn't he just say he's getting this problem only with DX9?

I would suggest removing FSX & then running some program like ccleaner to remove possible leftover files and installing FSX & SP1 & SP2 again then (if you aren't using Acceleration / FSX Gold)

Have you installed a new gfx driver lately?

Hi,

Thank you.

Removing FSX would be the last thing to do (or the only one?)... I have so many add-ons...

I tried to google my problem, but I saw nothing compared to my problem!

Do you have any idea? Shaders, missing file, dll config?

Thanks,

No...

The last thing I did before these lags was to add MyTraffic X to my fsx.cfg...

For information, I have FSX with Acceleration expantion pack

Did you do all those DX10 mods? Could be something got wacked when running all those DX10 mods. A simple thing would be to delete your FSX.cfg and let FSX rebuild it. Back it up first. Sure looks like a video Card, driver etc issue but why would it work in DSX10 and not 9?

I believe it is Shaders related. Try to delete ShadersHLSL folder - FSX will rebuild one after start. I believe it is under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX folder. Do not touch FSX main folder's shader catalogue.

Just in case do a folder backup instead of deleting it.

I already tried to delete my fsx.cfg. Nothing changed... I installed the last Graphics card driver, and nothing again.

I wanted to try that but couldn't find the folder... will look after it again, thank you

I tried to do it, it tells me that the latest version of DirectX is installed, and the installer just finishes there... How to uninstall DirectX? Isn't it build into Windows??

Duplicate Post

I had this issue when I tried the Shader3 Mod. Not the DX10 fix. I eventually had to uninstall everything and start over. It was not something I wanted to do, but it was the only thing that worked.

Good thing is though, on each reinstall, you get to go through, and thin the heard and pick a choose only the stuff you use, and you get a clean slate. The leaner FSX the better.

I deleted the shaders folders, cfg. file, and all sorts of fixes and an uninstall was the only thing that did it for me when I had your problem.

Then the problem would seem to be with FSX or your system.

DirectX cannot be uninstalled.
