March 31, 201313 yr Commercial Member Josh, I should be clear in stating my comment is not intended to bash your product in anyway, I have always said the axe is what is. However the aircraft does not produce a 15 degree per second roll in normal law with max deflection. Am I missing something? I updated it a couple of weeks back. Btw did you guys book any sim time when testing the FBW or did you just go on feedback? Cheers Rob, check your PM. Dont want to bring this futher off topic. Joshua C. WSSS

March 31, 201313 yr In the past I did not like Airbus, after buying the BBS version 0.61, I started to like it.I am 20 years or over FS, Advanced User'm not, but I feel that BBS has a future, their support is great.Very grateful to the team Black Box ! March 31, 201313 yr To bring the subject back to topic, I find the update very good overall. But the hand flying characteristics were much better in v 0.61. Based on what I experienced in 2 sessions in a A320 full flight simulator at Lufthansa Flight Training Center, I found the FBW of the BBS very realistically modelled. It felt good and was very responsive. The A/P is much smoother after the update, but the roll rate is too poor now. I don't hope that this a trade off for the smoother bank commands of the A/P. I haven't downloaded the new installer, but I installed the patch only instead. Is there any difference between the new complete installer and the patch?
March 31, 201313 yr Does any one run this on a laptop around 2.13 g dual core? I bought Airbus Extended and it produced frame rate of under 5 fps due apparently to FBW. Aircraft bucked around and was unflyable for me. (737 ngx gets great FPS though). Just wondered if anyone has an idea if this might be the same - before I invest? April 1, 201313 yr When I completed the purchase process, a guy named Shaun sent me an email with a link to my account where I can download a real airbus add on. I believe the same goes with BBS Airbus. A thousand posts about FSL mean nomore than just a prediction and assumption or worse, an ad.. I dont know how much you have spent for those words and screenshots which pretty much un-flyable. I am not saying FSX is not worth mentioned because they dont exist since PMDG 777 has been the same. FSL may be the best add on in the future, good luck for that, but for now, since it doesnt exist, theoretically, you are dreamers not simmers. I respect those who have taken risks designing the most controversial add on in Desktop Simulation. I respect those who have been trying hard to fix the bugs with enormous hotfixes or updates. BBS is the topic. I love BBS thou I dont own it, why? because they take risks, they have made the first move advantage, laggard isnt always bad but surely BBS and AXE share the same belief and most simmers who love airbus do believe what they believe.. and what's the most important is they do exist. I may as well purchase when it completes, but for now, AXE is another flyable Airbus that is worth mentioned.
