Hi Mr Leny,

Out of the whole crash log you showed, only the above lines are your problem.  I did a Google search using the above and one person fixed it by "adding the 'd3d9.fx' file from SweetFX".  And here is a possible solution - http://www.gamedev.net/topic/458588-d3dxcreateeffectfromfile-problems-solved/.  It appears you did not edit the d3d9.fx file correctly.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks Jim  i know this crash was wierd . I even stop using fs passenger an finally bought myself FS Captain . I have tested this on other computer an i didn't have this problem . I know the only problem in the past  i had was related to the black screen with the sound in the back ground . That was overheating issue as you said . Now my case has 8 fans  an with the liquid cooling fans counting i think is 10 in all .  So on full load my computer runs at 45C sometimes 49C on idle it will most likely be  at 29C or 30 . An that is with the fans at normal stock speed.  So this time i don't think i will have any overheating issue . For the graphic card i also bought this liquid cooling system that i got from newegg . It was hard to install at first i thought i damage the graphic card but it seems normal .  So i haven't push this CPU to the max even dow it is overclock to 4.5 . I am using another computer because i wanted to figure out why all the crashes on my other computer that is listed on my spec's . I should post some result about the FX 8350  . It is not bad at all intel is better i know . But Fx 8350 with the correct setup an configuration you will get nice performance .  What i like about this CPU with a touch of  V core voltage it overclocks easy with out any problem . I guest it is because it came with stock speed of 4.0 .

Back into topic where do i add the d3d9.fx ? Do i add it to the main fsx directory ? I have read what users did from the link you send me .

Hi, maybe was but now when I looked for that log file all that there were are not similar to yours. But I recommend to check that link that Jim posted above, it very looks like you have problems with "d3d9.fx",as above said.

Thanks you should do as Jim suggested an delete anything that relates to the Bonjour software . Jim knows what he is telling you . I deleted it myself  an saw a difference when the weather was updating . Every time the weather was updating i used to get this stutter for a second . Now i don't get that anymore after i deleted the bonjour software that quicktime added.  What exactly does your log file shows when you open it  in fsx folder ?

I don't have SweetFX but I am pretty sure it is suppose to be dropped into the main FSX directory so that it can be read when you load FSX.

Best regards,

Jim

Mmmm i do have the d3d9.fx in fsx main directory but in form of a text file . Like if i could open it with the notepad . I don't know if that has anything to do with it . But what i did now was copy the original one from the sweetfx 4.0 that i downloaded . I just got home so am about to try it an find out . I wonder if the OP solve his problem yet ?

Yes, that's the effects file that tells fsx what effects to use.  It can be edited and in that long SweetFX post here at the FSX Forum, there were several people who modified it for the best effects.  It's possible yours is corrupted.

Thanks Jim , i guest that makes sense i never even touch that . What i did was edit the preset setting an never touch the d3d9.fx file . I also downloaded the sweetfx setting of someone who seem to use fx on sweetfx forum . He never said nothing about editing d3d9.fx . I guest am going to do a little reading on the FSX forum about SweetFX . Thanks Jim is amazing to see that you know so much about sweetfx even dow you haven't try it . That is impressive me in the other hand i kind of tend to rush into things to fast with out reading first. LOL
