Let the Simmer Beware

Featured Replies

I have over a dozen FSX Imaginesim airports and many for FS 2004. I'm shocked how little value this company places on customers. They never respond to help and have left many sceneries un-completed.

I bought KATL from Flight1 and activation has a two step process and KATL has an installation limit even with the Flight1 wrapper. Cool!

Several days ago I contacted them and I've heard nothing. Flight1 took the money, but they can't help.

I'm done with buying anymore add-ons that require activation. If piracy is such a big problem, why are they still in business and legit customers have to deal with such unfairness?

Poor customer service only hurts the good guys.

If it's from Flight1 it has the 30 day return policy.

FLight1 will reset your limit also. I think you can do it automatically also. Been awhile since I had to do it.

It's called Developer protection mate! You need to get used to it. And no i am not a developer. The only other thing you could do is change to another hobby maybe. It really isn't that bigger headache for us my only beef is when you cannot reactivate for a month which is the case with one airport developer. Flight1 is as good as or better than just about all of the developers, site opperator for taking care of thier customers as you will find out if you stay in flight simmimg. The ste owners do not set those rules tyhe individual developers do..............Happy flight simming...........John

Flight1 is not the problem. Flight1 is great, but I don't think Flight1 should be connected with developer that doesn't respond to customer concerns.

The wrapper opens into an installer. Then the installer is validated by Imaginesim.

So, KATL has to be validated 2 times. Once by Flight1 and once by Imaginesim.

Now you're aware.

Did you try the refund policy?

That's almost all of them. Why don't you simply stop buying from Imaginesim? I wouldn't blame others.

Ohh, that is weird. That to me defeats purpose of buying from Flight1. If the second activation is that troublesome I would get a refund and alert Flight1 of why. Not sure if they tell you at purchase it requires a second layer of activation.

Ryan,

Thanks, but it's been more than 30 days. I'll take the loss, make a complaint, and I'll remember this incident before I buy anything else.

That's why FlyTampa is the best of the best.
