ES CJ1 2.0 MFD?

Featured Replies

I don't own this plane but factoring in the severe lack of bizjets I might get it. It appears to use similar gauge design to their C750. Unfortunately I've been having a lot of MFD freezes with that one.

I'm wondering if you guys have encountered any similar freezes on the CJ1?

Drop over and have a look  As you know we do not do support here but rather over there.

From our forums:

I think there's confusion in this topic.

One person reported that when loading a flight plan from disk/FS default planner that the sim would freeze if the flight plan contained waypoints that were no longer valid either in the sim or Navigraph.

Your freeze, I couldn't begin to address.. no information to actually go on.

No idea actually but I've experienced multiple FMC freezes after selecting the DENUT2A STAR for EHAM.
It only happens after selecting this particular STAR. Two times selecting it during flight and one time during pre-flight set-up, prior to engine start up. AIRAC 1213.

Ok so it appears to be a navigraph related issue hmmm...  Navigraph is the only reason I fly these type of planes.

Any other opinions?

Unknown cause but some report the above. We are unable to duplicate.. B)

What's next for ESDG?  How about a Falcon series jet or maybe a pressurized twin piston, or a turbo prop. ^_^

Ryan,

I too have been considering buying.  Are you planning to get the CJ1 V1.0  or the CJ1+ V2.0?

The new-ish one, the V2.0 - I'm looking for another bizjet with navigraph support for Pilot Edge online flying.  However it appears they are back on track for the XLS - I'd prefer that over the CJ1 for sure...  most importantly from a speed point of view.(390 vs 440 ktas).  However I noticed one guy has MFD freeze issues in the CJ1 as well...  rats.  No one knows what's causing them.

Citation XLS is indeed back on track and of course we always intend to outdo ourselves on each project so rest assured it will be exciting. B)

That's great Ron. I'm glad you are re-dedicated to producing high quality addons for a neglected category of aircraft. Kudos to ES and I'll be looking forward to your progress and releases.
