April 23, 201313 yr Hi, first thank you for this awesome plane. i know most of the FDE-calculations are done outside of FSX, but the radios too? I use the Saitek Radio Panel (SPAD driver), very convenient when flying online and having to change frequencies quickly, and it seems to only read but not be able to change the radio frequencies - it works fine with the default planes and also addons like the NGX or AEX. Can anybody confirm this and is there a chance that the Saitek radio will be supported? thank, regards chris Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.
April 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member Chris, You are correct, at present there is no integration for hardware (Saitek, GoFlight, PFC, etc.) However you can use basic functions on your AP panel for HDG, ALT, CRS1 & 2, V/S select, SPD select. April 26, 201313 yr I'm using the Saitek radio panels as well. Would be nice if an integration would be possible.
April 26, 201313 yr I too own Saitek and GoFlight hardware and would like to see them work with the Q400. i7-9700K, MSI Z370, PNY 4070 Super, GTX 750Ti, 32GB GSkill, 43" curved Samsung, 32" BenQ, 11" LED, RealSImGear GTN750, Win10, P3DV5.4/P3DV6 and MSFS, several GoFlight modules, Saitek radio, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Virtual Fly TQ6.
April 27, 201313 yr Strange thing on my system. If I change freqs in the plane, it changes the freqs on my Saitek radio panel but not vice-versa. Even the swap freq button in the plane swaps the freqs on my Saitek hardware. Too bad it can't be the other way around. Jim
April 27, 201313 yr Commercial Member Support for hardware will be looked at during/after the PRO and TRAINING Editions.
