Carenado Releases King Air C90 for FS9

Recommended Posts

The return flight video LBA/LTN is good to go with PFD/ND mods plus Reality-XP GNS530&430

Are you going to release your FDE mods?

Hello Dillon, the only thing that concerned me was the rotation on takeoff. I wanted it to be a bit easier to rotate.....so I used a well known FS trick....move the main gear forward a bit. :)

I am still not happy with it but I prefer it ....please backup your aircraft cfg. Below are the sections that have been changed.

Nice clip, so are you satisfied with your Beechcraft, then?

If you look closely on a big enough screen you will see the beacons flashing. You may notice the beacons flash a lot faster than Carenado's which are way too slow IMHO.

I have the Reality-XP GNS Pro. If anyone would like to add a 530 and 430 Garmin here is my panel cfg with then.

Thanks Ed...

No probs. I love the rotation in my second C90 video.....but it still took some training. A fairly solid pull to start the rotation released gently but immediately after the pull. (trim was neutral)

I'll keep the Aeroworx King Air if uses have to make the above modifications to make Carenado models half decent.

Good idea......there is no denying the sheer beauty of Carenado's external models.

I'm glade Carenado is still doing FS9 aircraft. The problems are not isolated to FS9 as FSX users report the same oversights. Bottom line like Ed said the models are brilliant and with a little work we can fix the issues (unlike what's reported or possible with Captainsim's FSX 777). I'll take the 90% and fix the rest as you won't find another C90 like this offered anywhere for FS9 or FSX. The same will be said when (if ever) Carenado releases the King Air. Just the same the Aeroworx King Air is fantastic in it's own right but visually it's not on the level of Carenado's offerings. Carenado's offerings are not what I would consider 'light' GA add-ons so put up against Aeroworx their equally impressive. We just have to work with Ed to see these products truly shine.

I advice everyone who buys the C90 to take note and save what's offered here in this thread. The few edits here offered by Ed put the C90 on the same level (if not above with Reality XP gauges) Aeroworx's King Air. I say above because dusk/dawn/night operations visually is more realistic and much nicer in the C90's VC versus Aeroworx's offering (Thanks Ed/Carenado).
