May 5, 201313 yr Have free versions, only have a key file in FS9 not in FSX, what is an ini file and where can I find it.
May 6, 201313 yr Download, run the installer and enter your personal license code (if running the full version) when prompted, otherwise simply fly and be happy. No need to re-enter the key. FSUIPC4 will find it (the .key file). I just hit "Cancel" when the license pop-up appears, as per instructions from Pete on his forum. In the past I have selected "use existing license" or something like that, when doing update 'full installs'. I haven't needed to enter the registration code since 'day one', several years ago. Paul

May 6, 201313 yr Interesting... So, everyone needs to reinstall FSUIPC? Yepper....I was just sent both updates for FS9 and FSX as I am a registered user on both. I'm now good to go.
May 6, 201313 yr Unfortunately the title of this thread is misleading and is exactly the type of hyperbole we were trying to avoid yesterday when Pete published his release. I just chose not to make a big deal of it when posting yesterday, because we don't actually know exactly when it will stop working - that is machine specific. Earlier versions of FSUIPC will stop working the first time your PC updates certificates after the one assigned to FSUIPC is revoked. It will, however, definitely stop working because of the way Pete encoded the dll. You will definitely need to download the new version if you want FSUIPC to keep working!
