May 11, 201313 yr This is after the new FSUIPC. I cannot get into FSX I reinstalled with FSUIPC.DLL bu couldn't start FSX. so I then copied over FSUIPC_LOADER.dll and reinstalled FSUIPC (The loader file is required if FSUIPC cannot find sim connect or something. I deleted the fsuipc.ini and deleted fsx.cfg as well Started FSX and its not load FSX..it freezes. When I use appcrash I see this. dedModule[214]=C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mswstr10.dll LoadedModule[215]=C:\Windows\SysWOW64\msjter40.dll LoadedModule[216]=C:\Windows\SysWOW64\MSJINT40.DLL LoadedModule[217]=C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mstext40.dll LoadedModule[218]=C:\Windows\system32\mlang.dll LoadedModule[219]=C:\Windows\system32\RAASAUDIO32.DLL LoadedModule[220]=C:\Windows\system32\X3DAudio1_6.dll LoadedModule[221]=C:\Windows\SysWow64\xactengine3_4.dll LoadedModule[222]=C:\Windows\SysWow64\XAudio2_4.dll LoadedModule[223]=C:\Program Files (x86)\FS Recorder for FSX\FSRecorder_FSX.dll LoadedModule[224]=C:\Windows\system32\WMVCore.DLL LoadedModule[225]=C:\Windows\system32\WMASF.DLL LoadedModule[226]=F:\FSX\Modules\FSUIPC4_Loader.dll FriendlyEventName=Stopped responding and was closed ConsentKey=AppHangXProcB1 AppName=Microsoft Flight Simulator® AppPath=F:\FSX\fsx.exe ReportDescription=A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. Is there a way to check my sim connect independently? to make sure my sim connect is ok? I never had a problem. I am thinking of using my Acronis backup and restoring my whole system back to it was before the new forced FSUIPC upgrade. The issue is FSUIPC. Since if I disable fsuipc via the dll.xml, its able to get into FSX But then I don't have fsuipc. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 11, 201313 yr Author There is a whole topic on this http://forum.simflight.com/topic/68382-fsx-fails-to-run-after-fsuipc4-first-installed/ Sigh! Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 11, 201313 yr Hope you get it fixed Manny. I personally did not have this problem with my registered version. I simply downloaded the new FSUIPC4 and installed it. There was nothing asking me if I wanted to trust the new dll. I looked in the FSUIPC4 log and it indicated my installation is installed properly. It really is strange it works for some and not for others as I know several others have had this problem you are encountering. May 11, 201313 yr There was nothing asking me if I wanted to trust the new dll. Just to add to the sample size. I was asked if I trusted FSUIPC the first time I started FSX after installing the new FSUIPC version. My FSX is working fine and all my FSUIPC settings carried over. May 11, 201313 yr Hi Manny; Two things: 1). Did you check your dll.xml (which should be alongside the fsx.cfg) for the FSUIPC entry? It looks like this:-<Launch.Addon><Name>FSUIPC 4</Name><Disabled>False</Disabled><Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path></Launch.Addon>Download XML Notepad 2007, and load in the dll.xml: this will tell you if the xml file itself is ok - or not...FSX will throw a fit if either the dll.xml or the exe.xml are messed up.2). remove the [Trusted] entry from the fsx.cfg for FSUIPC, so that FSX will make a fresh entry. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

Its a crap shoot. It loads once and next time it doesn't Right now, I am trying for like 5 times and its not loading FSX. If I read the support thread, it says different fsuipc.exe may load. But unfortunately after the recent reissue..there is only one 4.9 file. I have no alternate fsuipc to go to. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 11, 201313 yr Which one do you need? Besides going to Pete - I have 4.8.44, 4.8.6, 4.853 and 4.9, all zipped as rx'd from Pete. I can stick them in the DropBox, just say the word.. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

May 11, 201313 yr They'll all work, Manny, it's just that Pete's Security Certificate is no longer valid, so an earlier version may give you a pop-up saying "this site isn't trusted, do you want to continue", or something close to that. There is no cause for alarm, but the main thing is to get FSUIPC and the sim working again. Once that's done with one of the earlier versions you can d/l and reinstall the later one, this time knowing what to look for or what to expect. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
May 11, 201313 yr Author They'll all work, Mann Ah ok. Thanks Paul Would you then give me the link for the earlier versions of FSUIPC. I'll take em all. My FSUIPC that was working was probably fairly old... but not sure..so I would have to try as much as I can. I just got into FSX with my current 4.9 setup couple of times.. I just exited out..now I am afraid of trying it again. Ha Ha! I never know what I am going to get! Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

May 11, 201313 yr Blast...I wish I had known we didn't have to upgrade. I struggled almost all week, retweaking and retuning. I'm not sure why yet...Pete says nothing changed but something suddenly happened and you quickly become aware how much that app is central to so much stuff. Fixing the problem didn't seem to be any one thing but little things. Definitely had to recailbrate all my most complex airplanes. Did some uninstalls, reinstalls, moving USB cables around, cleaned out a few things. I can't say which parts helped except recalibrating helped the most. Painful but, seems for the most part, back to normal. Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
May 11, 201313 yr Here ya go.... 4.844, 4.853, 4.86, and 4.90 Do you know where I might be able to "acquire" the dll's for FS9? I had to backtrack to 3.989u an old copy that I had backed up. When I download the latest version of FSUIPC the sim doesn't see it and loads without FSUIPC I contacted Pete but he has no idea why it doesn't work. There never used to be a problem with his files. So I used yours to install and activiate the old key and then I dropped my old dll.exe (dated April 25th 2012. and it seems to work so far... Ofcounse my realityxp 530 is currently not working... so not sure whatsup with that.. Ha HA! One after the other.. The FSX is killing me. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
