May 31, 201313 yr dropped a ticket on it as well. Doesn't seem like a big repair, like the CAS alerts... its all in the XML code some where. I have also sent a couple tickets in for various items that are easily fixable..... I have not heard a single peep from Carenado...... They usually respond with something...
June 1, 201313 yr They usually respond with something... Same... the only thing they responded on for me was the light switches (I had asked for green "On" indicators for the rest of them), and they said that's how the real plane is. You would figure that the hardest part is done... building the plane! Seems to me bugs are way easier to fix, especially if the beta testers (us) find everything for them. After all, who better then the creators to know where said code is within the xml mess. Ah.. be as it may. It'd be nice for the minor fixes, but even without 'em... she's still a really good bird.

Response I rcvd: Thank you for your valuable feedback. We've added your suggestions to a list of potential improvements to the aircraft and we'll try to include your suggestions amongst the modifications for the upcoming service pack. Regards. June 3, 201313 yr hey, that's more good news then...without reading into it too much at least it sounds as if an SP2 is a sure thing? (maybe I shouldn't have just said it!,lol) Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
June 4, 201313 yr (maybe I shouldn't have just said it!,lol) Oh No! Good news though... but.. SP2 will more then likely be the last SP.
June 5, 201313 yr Oh No! Good news though... but.. SP2 will more then likely be the last SP. I have a plan though: You and Bert will have to dig in on whatever is not fixed in SP2.... I just want you to know....We are all counting on you!!
June 6, 201313 yr I have a plan though: You and Bert will have to dig in on whatever is not fixed in SP2... LOL.. indeed.. It would be nice if bliksimpie was still around. Him and Bert are my favorite moders. Can't remember the details, but both Stolle and Blik were "excused" from Avsim. Erroneously of course. Whenever I refer to the "Mod Squad", I mean those three folks. --- Oh a side note, I have tweaked the sound system, but Avsim wants me to get permission from Carenado to post it. I was able to change the spool-up speed of start up, and fixed the cutoff feather sound. Prop speed sound is closer to 2k as opposed to 3k that it sounds like. Was able to do that in the sound cfg changing rparams and vparams only. No Carenado sounds were harmed!
June 6, 201313 yr I was able to change thespool-up speed of start up, and fixed the cutoff feather sound. ha, I had a feeling you'd figure something out, way to go Hawk!! Lookin' forward to it Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons

I have his email.... I was going to shoot him a msg to see if he is still in the biz.
June 7, 201313 yr ha, I had a feeling you'd figure something out, way to go Hawk!! Lookin' forward to it Check ur mail hangar... let me know what you think.
June 7, 201313 yr SP2 is out - so try it and see how things are now.. Wilco. It's funny because when I opened a ticked about the Ng issue, they simply repliaed "...due to FSX limitations it is not possible to accurately replicate the Ng needle movement....". Glad they figured out a way. Currently re-installing P3D on a brand-new Haswell system, working my way through the add-ons, one by one. It's painful, but I will get to the TBM-850 any week now  -
June 8, 201313 yr Currently re-installing P3D on a brand-new Haswell system, Oh man.. two words that freak me out.... "Full re-install". My last one took exactly two weeks. I feel for ya brother! On NG... she will get to 12%, but it takes awhile... the last 2% taking the longest... Not a biggie, but the startup sound file (Both "falsestart" and "starter") are not long enough. If you have something like Cool Edit, or Audacity, you can split the sound and extend it. The ticking of the igniters, and the starter spin should be a full minutes worth anyway.
