FTX Global + UTX + Mesh

Featured Replies

I am unable to see FTXG Night lighting of roads with UTX.. (Though lights is turned off in UT config tool) . I Uninstalled UTX and I can see the road lights again..

Any help Please?

Turn off lighting from the setup tool for UTX

Then make sure the Use Vector Lites (?) is checked in the FTXCentral

Then use the FTX_Night shortcut

Maybe that should do it to keep UTX while keeping the FTXG lights too

That did not work ^

UPDATE

The only way to make FTXG road night lighting work with UTX is Disable "UT Exclusions" from FSX Scenery library.

Does FTXG have road lights?

What will this affect in the day light then?

Is this true, btw?

Thanks,

Dirk.

UPDATE

The only way to make FTXG road night lighting work with UTX is Disable "UT Exclusions" from FSX Scenery library.

Don't think this is a viable option, as it would result in duplicate scenery in some areas. UT excludes areas because it repositions scenery to the more accurate locations. If exclusions were disabled you would get this scenery placed twice. Once from the default scenery at it's original location and one from UT repositioning to the more geographic accurate position.

Thanks

Hey,

Right now I have UTX with all its scenery enabled (except for Night Lighting which is turned off in setup), along with FTXG's light vector.

If I disable UTX completely, then those ftxg's lights show up or by disabling UT Exclusions but I believe UT Exclusion is required.

Also, does any know how to remove those auto imprints from night roads - the blue hue is mess.

Best suggestion is to have UTX disabled completely with FTXG.  Both the programs are just not fully compatible.

That brings to my question - What other addon is there which can provide me with proper roads?

Thanks,

Here is the pic of the night lighting with FTXG and UTX

At present as far as the road vector lights go, but that should change, hopefully with the first patch. John says the fix to make the lights work shouldn't be that difficult. He says that UTX uses different GUID's on their road then default FSX roads, so it should just be a matter of adding those GUID's to what the FTXG vector lights look for.

Thanks

Tom
