The PMDG T7 - Good News / Bad News

Recommended Posts

The good news? Rob's announcement ramped up user loading earlier today to over 1,300 guests and members at one time and we continued to serve at a blindingly fast rate.

The bad news? Oh lord... Here we go again. Rob, if you break AVSIM again, we are revoking your SAAB 340 certificate and shutting down your yaw damper. And, that $500 hamburger will be on you, not me. :LMAO:

At least right now AVSIM appears to be in top shape [from what I can see!]

Lol! Looks like Tom's getting a copy of the T7 on the house eh? Good to see the forum is hanging in under the pre release excitement. But will it survive the "Released" anouncement load? Only one way to find out I guess. Hint hint. Lol.

No, I insist!!! I will freeze dry the burger and send it to you via UPS. You will have to provide the fries, mayo and garnish! Anything to avoid THAT fuel bill. Heck, I don't think I could even afford the cost of the dripping oil, let alone the clean up fee from the FBO at KCHO. Those guys would never forgive me. The freeze dried burger would be infinitely cheaper!!!  :LMAO:

So, Rob's current on the Saab 340!!! That's great!!!

A question for Rob... : How are torque effects translated into "turning tendencies" on "your" Saab's Robert?  Yaw (left) ? Roll (left) ? Both?

I guess you do not even use the aileron trim for takeoff / climb (?)

I'm asking, because being a Saab driver ( I didn't know you were ) could well entitle you to give a credited opinion to the X-Plane 10 dev team regarding torque effects, before PMDG releases their first X-Plane add-on ;-)

Sorry for corrupting the OP, but I really didn't know he was a Saab driver.....

Now, regarding the release of the T7, I can well remember going on holidays in 2005 when the Queen of the Skies was released, somewhere in the beginning of August. I was already at the beach, with limited internet access, but ordered it from there, even being unable to install :-(  Those holidays were probably the ones I profited the least from, desperately waiting for it to end and return home :-)

Something tells me you're doing it again! Only now, I'll be at work :-)

I knew I had seen the abbreviation RSR before...

In the context of this topic, I would take exception to both of those statements.

Based upon my experience, I don't think Rob has EVER been current on a SAAB! :LMAO:

Is this about this incident that was discussed on Avsim Convention? :)

Congrats, Tom, on that rise in page impressions and, correspondingly, in prices for advertising space.

That hamburger definitely is on you ...   :P

(Am I biased in favour of the man who will release "my" T7? Nooooo!!!)
