How to become a Beta-Tester?

Featured Replies

hi
I would be interested to know what requirements need to be here to be a Beta-Tester? If you just asked or how does it work here? I think it's good that there are people who want to test something
Thank you :excl:
You all have a nice week, and many good landings :p0504:

Well for the Triple 7 it's way to late, in general you should read the rules/requirements they developers have put out. Normally it involves "Real pilot time" Lots of time in general. The dedication to fly the plane and work out the bugs for months to even years.

The ability to use the search function in this forum should be the first requirement.

Hey Sebastian,

Long story short is that you get asked by PMDG for various reasons to be on the Beta team.  If you have verifiable real world experience with the aircraft, then you may be brought in as a Tech team member (which is what Tommy is referring to, above).

No worries.  It's not too uncommon, though it does help answer a lot of questions.

haha - I thought those words seemed a little odd as I typed them.

Then again, when people say they're sorry, I tend to let off.

...but you may be right.  Between my two jobs and helping with the Beta, I'm getting to the point of so little sleep that I'm just delirious.

[EDIT]

Started typing that and got distracted with testing something, and after I pressed submit, I saw the rest of the posts.

Hilarious.

If you want to see me in standard mode, just go find that 250 knots thread in the MD11 forum.  I responded to that just this morning in typical form (I think).  That and the pax count thread...

You've been on fire in those lol

I miss the Care Bears banner ^_^
