Hi Robert, My apologies. I did not realize that I needed to be that specific in my post. I suppose I thought that it was a given that it was freezing on my machine. I was posting because I was curious if anyone else had the same issue and if they perhaps had some sort of "quick remedy" that I wasn't aware of. I am not a frequent poster on here so I do apologize if I was not following forum protocol. Still learning. I seem to remember opening up a ticket some time ago (although it was before SP1) regarding this but never heard back. Perhaps I hadn't submitted it correctly. Nonetheless, I will open up a ticket to see if we can fix what is happening. I look forward to it. Cheers.

The product is fantastic however, it still freezes at 15-20 intervals at 5-10 minutes per interval. I have no weather or scenery addons. My FSX is very basic to say the least.

Unfortunately despite the FMC Pre Load Sound change, FSX still freezes in the typical intervals when flying the T7 with SP1 and 300ER installed. Am I the only one with this issue thus far?

I still seem to get the freezing issue (freezes for several minutes in 15-20 minute intervals). My FSX is bare bones too. No scenery add-ons or weather add-ons what so ever. I love the product but I would be thrilled to find a way to make it run without freezing.

I can't help but agree with the quotes pasted below. There is no demand of a release date or to "hurry up" on PMDG's part. It is a fairly calm approach to a statement given by PMDG that they would have information for the customer base at some point during this week (now past). Obviously there has been no sign of any additional information as stated there would be so some people, including myself, are curious. Not upset. Just curious. Hence the inquiry. Personally, I do not expect release dates to be given. That is a well known tradition by PMDG. I will never demand release dates. However, if it is said that information is to be given within a certain time frame, I somewhat expect the information to arrive by at least the very end of that stated time frame. If the information is not given then yes, too bad. However, to some this is slightly disappointing because as enthusiasts, any information from PMDG is very exciting. Nevertheless, I very much look forward to the product and any related information as always. The screenshots by way of the Beta Team have been fantastic. Great work, everyone. Cheers,

This is certainly exciting news. I know that you and the team have created a service and expansion pack that will essentially blow our minds. Not that it would be intensely heartfelt by any means, I would be slightly disappointed not hearing any update on the release timeline as stated above. While I agree that we as a general population should never feel entitled, one can't help but feel slightly disappointed when they are told something will be revealed that they are truly excited about only to not unveil as stated. In this regard, a release timeline as mentioned in your update. Nevertheless, there is much excitement about the service and expansion pack. It will undoubtedly be a fantastic product. Thank you to both you and your team for your hard work and attention to detail in your products. Your work is revolutionary. Cheers.

While all of this "back and forth" is very enlightening, I do look forward to the Service Pack and the 300ER. I currently do not have a properly working 77L. Normally, I would be quite upset with an "every day product" bought from the store that did not work properly. With regards to the PMDG 777, I can't honestly say that it is an "every day product". On one hand, I do believe that it is the customers right, after having purchased a product, to receive it in proper working order OR to be able to exchange it for one that is. However, being that exchanging is pointless in this case and that there are many unforeseen variables in the software business, I trust that PMDG is working diligently to resolve some, if not all of the issues that have been realized. I love the product however, I would love it even more if it wouldn't freeze every 10-15 minutes for 5-10 minutes "a pop". I have no add-ons other than several Payware Aircraft. My FSX is "bare bones" so to speak. I haven't flown the PMDG B777 in a couple of months now primarily because of this freezing issue. I very much look forward to the remedy as I know that it is being "looked in to". Kind regards,

I basically "lock it" when I am at 10ft off the deck. No elevator movements from 10ft downwards. I find that any considerable flaring will cause excessive floating when landing the T7. Someone with expertise on the T7 would certainly be able to refine it more. I have found that I personally land it more like I do in the real-world Baron that I burn around in, in regards to the "locking it" technique that is. Whether this is right or wrong for the T7, I don't know but it seems to work nicely.

Still freezing here. Every 15 - 20 mins or so for 5 minutes. Hopefully it gets solved in due time. Not flying it in the meantime as a result. No EZDOK or scenery addons here. Just the NGX and B777. Very basic simming on my end!

We need "befriend" the engineer who designed this "feature" then extract the information from him or her over coffee. Yeah.... over coffee.... that's it. :rolleyes:

I love the aircraft. I think that PMDG has done a fantastic job on this model. My only "major" complaint is regarding the continual "long-pause" glitch. A 5 minute pause every 10 minutes or so. I know that PMDG is looking in to the issue so I do hope that they resolve it in due time. Like anything there are a few other things that I am sure they will tidy up in service pack(s) to come. Nothing major (other then the long pausing glitch) in my view though. Cheers!

Same issue here. Freezes for several minutes and then "un-freezes" on its own for about half an hour then repeats the same process. I don't have EZDok or anything of the sort , no modifications to the .cfg either and it only happens with the B777LRF. It looks as though PMDG is investigating the problem.
