Featured Replies

Here is a set of shots i took today on my rotation to Edinburgh from London Gatwick.

Initially i only started snapping the shots on the approach to Edinburgh so there is no London departure etc shots.

Lets get to it.......

CMD A and B armed. I rarely let the AP take the aircraft all the way down and hand fly most approaches but tonight was different. Hopefully she was configured correctly.

The red bridge is the Forth Rail Bridge. An engineering masterpiece

Nice sequence of screen shots you have taken.

The red bridge is the Forth railway bridge which is to the east of the Forth road bridge both of which span the Firth of Forth linking Edinburgh with Fife.

How does ORBX global interact with FTX UK?

Is it the same thing or two different?

They are different. FTX UK is a location specific add-on, and is of much higher resolution and quality with more attention to detail. ORBX FTX Global changes the entire world, but not on the scale of say FTX UK, but it is for sure an improvement over stock FSX textures.

Thanks for the comments.

This is just FTX global, not using ORBX UK.
