There are 8000+ unemployed pilots here in India and I am one of them. There are people here with both Airbus and Boeing rating and still no jobs. As far as salary goes, the money the pilots in my country earn , will make anyones stomach churn. And the longer you stay in an Airlines , the more is the salary and generally commanding a salary hike per year of something around 17% of the basic. By the way did I mention other than a selected few, who are actually good pilots, and who still have their identity and integrity with them, the rest are just , something else always needing to be pampered, and treated as GODs .

It has all the three moods....single,coop and multiplayer, they have reinvented the game , the entire look and feel of the game is absolutely awsome You should , trust me , you will love it... i have played all the Splinter cells in the series except Chaos theory, this one is really good ..

Guys Check out Splinter Cell Black List , I have been hooked onto it and playing it a lot . Its absolutely great ...

Since its a PMDG 777 and its going to be the next best thing to the real thing , I wont go through the tutorials , I will just be familiarising myself with the aircraft and all its capabilities, system by system, from the 777CBT I borrowed from my uncle ^_^ and I am already 2 weeks into it

Yes it does give a suggested cruise level , also the cost index with which one should fly. However it is clearly stated that it does not simulate cost index as it varies from operator to operator. I guess it just takes an average for its calculations. Besides that , the other information regarding fuel, notams, weather enroute, etc are highly accurate.

Its a very nice Aircraft to hand fly and performs as expected. It is also the most FPS friendly aircraft I have flown and the FMC is one of the best designs even today... The innovations that were made during its design days were revolutionary during the time..

I love doing manual fuel calculations and using the technique as given in the PMDG tutorials to use the FMC to get the most accurate fuel planning done. However recently I have become hooked to Simbrief.com and have used it for 4 flights now and I must say it is absolutely spot on with its fuel and load calculations(for ngx), taking into account predicted weather patterns and countless other factors. Unfortunately most of the times ,time is a major constraint and to simplify things and to get the job done I enter the data from simbrief and do a X check of the progress page and get on with the flying ....

From what I gather , the highest pay packages at the moment are being offered in many chinese airlines such as China Airlines . They give a monthly package of about 11,000 US$ /month after tax deductions. Thats about 132,000 US$ a year excluding the other perks and privileges. In Emirates new captains earn anywhere from 60 to 70,000 Dirhams and provided accomodation in duplex villas with swimming pool and other amenities.
