How come there's no gulf streams for fsx?

Heh, yet Turbosquid is full of payware 3D models with name and everything showing.

I have my own doubts whether Gulfstream would really bother doing anything even if someone modeled and sold addons based on their aircraft models for FSX.

- Um...wow ..I once downloaded a Cessna 152 that cruised at 180 kts, and another time I downloaded a B-757 that could barely get off a 10,000 foot runway lightly loaded at sea level, so I can think of a few reasons.

I believe everyone with enough money to buy a private jet is quite likely intelligent enough not to form an opinion about real airplanes based on addons one can buy for 40 dollars or so to use on a flight sim running on home PC.

I think all these restrictions are just silly (just like American legal system in general), though personally I wouldn't think about modeling a Gulfstream aircraft anyway. I think they are ugly.

Maybe the attitude Gulfstream has is somehow related to their military background, which is one reason why I would never buy anything from them even if I was rich enough. I don't want to fund development of tech used to hurt innocent people abroad.

Nice to hear from the Mayor of Irkutsk! It's been awhile.

Under communism, we'd have Gulfstream aircraft in FSX, is all I'm sayin'..... does anything else really matter? :D

Someone will come out with a biz jet better than GS.

Our best chance is a developer making one from a country that couldn't care less whether Gulfstream likes it or not. The web makes it possible to purchase from just about anywhere.

They better care.  Just because they are in another country doesn't mean they can't be sued by a US company.

I'll take "No Gulfstream in FSX for no Communism for $5,000, Alex".

Oh boyyyy...  Good to know you don't care about the people that have fought for the very freedoms and rights you enjoy on a daily basis.  Being from Finland, you have big balls to say that given your countries past.  I'm not even going to say anything else about the absolute ignorance of this post.

That's probably true. Besides,  I would never want to use my credit card with a questionable company anyway.

There are lot of cool business jets that can be developed instead.

As a Brit I'm delighted that Hawkers, Supermarine, Vickers, Avro, Handley Page, etc. etc.  were funded to develop "tech to hurt innocent people abroad." otherwise I might be living in a ###### state.

This threads not political AT ALL lol

Just give me a high fidelity bizjet with quality graphics and Im in. It doesn't even need an FMS.

Meh, during WW2 United States in fact supported Soviet Union when we were fighting against them to recover the land they took from us earlier and then later after the war our relations with the Soviet Union were quite good.

US military has never fought for our freedom.

Yeah WW2 was one thing, ##### had to be stopped. However since WW2 US military hasn't done much good for freedom of anyone no matter what pro war propaganda says.

Anyway I guess we can end the off topic here.

I never said the US was a backer of Finland.  After Finland 1) allied with ###### Germany, 2) tried to claim lands from Great Britain - starting another war, 3) creating your own concentration camp for slaughtering tens of thousands of Soviet Union prisoners of war, and 4) handing over Jews in Finland to ###### Germany; you're right, there is no way the US was going to help or support Finland.

After Finland 1) allied with ###### Germany

We didn't have a choice, it was either that our we would have lost our independence. Allying with Soviet Union wasn't much better anyway, after all Stalin was just as bad as the Germans in power at the time.

tried to claim lands from Great Britain - starting another war,

Uhmm what, who did that?

3) creating your own concentration camp for slaughtering tens of thousands of Soviet Union prisoners of wa

Read history, none of the camps were used to intentionally kill Soviet prisoners. Sure times were hard and there weren't enough medicine and food for all the prisoners which resulted in a lot of deaths, yet prisoners weren't killed on purpose like Germans and in some extent Soviets did too.

4) handing over Jews in Finland to ###### Germany; you're right, there is no way the US was going to help or support Finland.

Actually Finland was one of the few countries under German influence that didn't handle any significant amount of Jewish people to the Germans.

Funny how you think allying with the Germans was something like a crime against humanity but then United States had no problem supporting the regime of Stalin which slaughtered more civilians than anyone else in WW2.

Anyway, unlike your country we at least haven't nuked anyone, started multiple major wars within last 15 years, spied internet and telephone usage of ordinary citizen, supported terrorist groups or protected a terrorist responsible for bringing down an airliner.

(Just google Luis Posada Carriles, a man responsible for bombing Cuban DC-8 civilian jetliner some decades ago, still living peacefully in Miami under protection of the US government).

The extreme hypocrisy of I keep hearing from some people, regarding US politics and intentions never stops to astonish me.

This thread needs to be moved to Hanger Chat so it can keep rolling until we drop it to climb in our new T7s.
