August 27, 201411 yr Author I do not have to worry about the mouse issue because I have the go flight mcp / efis and the fmc from flightdecksolutions, that I use, so mouse clicking is hardly used. Now I tend to have to glasses on for about 80% of the flight, taxi, takeoff, a little on cruise, descent, approach and landing. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 30, 201411 yr Do one of you who are running TriDef care to give me some feedback on how the quality of this compares to TriDef http://youtu.be/QpPdK7eLHXM . Is it about the same? A bit better? Way better?? Best results from checking the clip in 1080 resolution obviously. Thanks
August 30, 201411 yr Wait, so does this software make any monitor or HDTV into 3d? Or does that still take a specific model? I still don't really know why 3d support is needed. Is it the polarization that's needed? I thought that was WITHOUT glasses (like the Nintendo 3ds) Nathan Allen Pinard Virtual Pilot in Training Composer/Sound Designer www.nathanallenpinard.com

Is it the polarization that's needed? I thought that was WITHOUT glasses (like the Nintendo 3ds) you ca use any monitor it is the game that has to support it, so fsx supports 3d tridef so it works, however no drivers for P3d yet. I use a projector on a very large screen, adds to to immersion immensely. Thanks well what I can see in that video, I cant see any 3D you need to see the redish tinge and then wear the red/green glasses to see the game in 3d. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 30, 201411 yr Tried Tridef with FSX but it opened the opening screen and when I selected a flight it just froze. I read about Internet Explorer 9 causing problems but I am running IE 10. I turned it off but that did not help. I then tried the native Nvida 3D. I got that going with my red and green glasses, but it makes the screen too dark and started giving me a headache. I have an Nvida 560TI with a normal 23 inch LCD. Anyone got any better ideas of how to use 3D or how to get Tridef going with FSX? Mant thanks John
August 30, 201411 yr Author make sure you have the latest gpu drivers installed that may help I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram

August 30, 201411 yr Author really strange for it to freeze, have you tried deleting or backing up your fsx.cfg file and running fsx? I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 30, 201411 yr really strange for it to freeze, have you tried deleting or backing up your fsx.cfg file and running fsx? Thanks clayton4115 but that did not fix it.
August 30, 201411 yr Author not good try here, 6 pages to go through though http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1287 see the last page on that link they say try 3D cockpit as default and untick bloom, then try running fsx through tridef I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
August 30, 201411 yr well what I can see in that video, I cant see any 3D you need to see the redish tinge and then wear the red/green glasses to see the game in 3d. Reddish tinge is for Anaglyph 3D. The video was Side by Side 3D which only works on 3D specific monitors as it will show you the left half as full screen while the glasses blank off your right eye, then switch to right half while the glasses blank off your left eye. That's why you need a special monitor with super fast refresh rate that also communicates with the glasses.
August 30, 201411 yr T not good try here, 6 pages to go through though http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1287 see the last page on that link they say try 3D cockpit as default and untick bloom, then try running fsx through tridef Thanks. I had read all through that last night. I always start in the VC and have the bloom off. I also start with dx9. It just looks like that Tridef doesn't want to play with me.
August 30, 201411 yr Hey clayton The media player works in 3D, but not FSX via the injector. Work that one out? Very strange.
August 30, 201411 yr Author just took off from KEWR, man what an experience, going through the cloud layers, passing 20k feet those clouds coming at you ... still climbing then you see a higher layer, then you approach them and go through them at 23k feet, then you look down and you see a huge motorway snaking its way through the countryside with another roads joining and branching out (thanks vector) just an amazing experience, all in 3D on a projector screen. really feeling sorry for you John, I hope someone else can chime in and help you out, what screen are you using? what size monitor? from the tridef forum, did you try this? I have resolved the issue with some help - it is IE 9 that causing the problem. So you need to remove IE 9 and restore IE 8 for the default profile for FSX to work. The test profile that was posted here, which works with IE 9 is not at all workable. But the key here how to downgrade from IE 9 to IE 8. Turn Windows features on or off way will not work as it will remove IE. You need to remove IE 9 via "View installed updates" and remove the update for IE 9. This will restore IE 8 and FSX will start working with default profile. And you will never going to play it in 2D mode after that ... With all at ultra setting its just mind blowing ... Next will try with service pack to get better fps as it will make fsx to take multicore advantage.Happy flying on Windows 7 ! I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
