August 20, 201312 yr According to the Times Ryanair said We will not allow a Ryanair employee to defame our safety record on national television just three weeks after he confirmed in writing to Ryanair that he had no concerns with safely and no reason to make any confidential safety report to either the IAA or Ryanair. The Times also reported that Ryanair is suing Captain Goss for defamation as well as the TV programme and newspapers – one of which (the Belfast Telegraph) is said to have apologised. Gerry Howard
