August 20, 201312 yr Can I get some thoughts on the CS 737 from people who have flown it? Thinking of picking it up for 10 euros. Yes, I know lots of people don't like CS. I don't care. Just want to know if it's worth having in the hangar. August 20, 201312 yr Commercial Member It has some bugs, flight dynamics don't feel very good. It does look nice though, overall I don't think it's that bad although for realism Milviz 732 is the way to go. Anyway for 10 euros I think it's worth it.
August 20, 201312 yr Mmmmm...... I'll try and be objective. It probably is worth 10 Euros, but certainly not more. Lot's of bugs with systems and AP, and a very poor flight model. The Milviz 732 kills the CS one; but if budget is a factor, the CS is probably ok for 10 Euros. Pretty nice VC and frames are ok.
August 20, 201312 yr For 10 Euros... I would say buy it, that way you will know for sure, instead of buying it later on for $30 or how ever much. - - Tommy - -
August 20, 201312 yr if systems is not your priority buy it if you want a more realistic plane Milviz is not perfect so SP are coming one more things: Milviz is a 1 month old addon with good & serious well know developer and have lot of SP to come CS 737 is probably at the end of it's development, all bugs in it are for live util you put your hands in it. August 20, 201312 yr No experience with CS for several years; just got the 707 base, cargo, and Herc based on recommendations here, as those two seem to be the ones well received. The 707 is worth getting, and you can easily add the freeware CIVA INS. It is a very nice flyer, great textures in and out, 3d modeling is excellent, switch sounds are realistic, basic systems logic including activity on the engineer panel seems ok, though I didn't test thoroughly. Definitely worth considering for a steam gauge aircraft; can't speak for the other options. Hand flies well, feels right, vor tracking on autopilot is realistically sloppy , didn't try doppler or Carousel yet for nav, but apparently both work. Sorry for slight off-topic, but the sale is short so...
August 20, 201312 yr Author I guess I'll skip this plane. Thanks for the feedback. August 20, 201312 yr Good enough for €10 (that's when I bought it), but since buying the milviz version I haven't touched it. August 20, 201312 yr Yep- for 10 euro's its OK but I wouldn't pay more. Great graphics as always with CS. There are numerous patches to obtain much closer rw docs for FDE, EPR CG etc..... Installed 2 of the 3 so far. Vowed I'd never buy another CS product but at this price and with the patches you can't go wrong. I'll just delete it if its there's too much garbage going on. Not much to loose. But keep in mind who the developer is and their reputation. No belly aching please. Brian Green
August 20, 201312 yr I bought it during their last sale and like it a lot. It has great sounds and can be fairly easy to fly. As for bugs, I did notice it was overpowered and fixed that with a change to the cfg file. I haven't noticed the other bugs that people talk about. I'm not saying that they aren't there, I'm just saying that they haven't been anything that I would notice or care about. Of course, if I didn't have such a problem with spending money on FS, I would buy the Milviz one right now.
August 20, 201312 yr Worth the money...Marry the model to the FDE and panel of the Tinmouse 2. It will be a nice package - unless you really want a VC....
August 20, 201312 yr if its not to late I would suggest that you buy the C130 all-in-one which normally retails for 89.99 euro for 9.99 euro and then with the 80.00 euro you saved buy the Milviz 737. Not that the retail price means anything but it has to count for something right. Haven't tried any off these yet but I took the plunge for 4x 9.99 euro and got the C-130 All in one, the 707 base pack and the 727 base pack and the 757 base pack. That was about $56 in total. Already have the just flight 767. . Why would I buy the 737 -200 or the 777 are you crazy
