Question to beta-testers: T7 & FSPax

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

As above mentioned, this question is to the beta testers. Have you tried using the T7 and FsPassenger X ?

I remember when the NGX was released, we had to find the way for FsPax and NGX to work together (as a reminder: fuel needed and 0 payload in the NGX and Pax + freight in FSPax, then back to the init page of the NGX .)

Any feedback about this would be welcome for the community I guess, as FSPax was still in the Top 5 best sellers in the main add-ons selling website.

Cheers !

You're going to have to find workarounds still.

FSPax is a rather unrealistic program, so it's not quite right to assume a developer of a study-sim-type (very realistic) aircraft would somehow integrate it.

I have FSPax and do not like nor use it.  A much better app for that IMHO is FS Captain.

Isn't there an option in fspax that disables their payload?

Did not used it for quite some time, but yeah there is definitely an option where you just say the software you handle pax and load on your own. A must for PMDGs aircraft as loading from FSPX is using common standard FS system while it's not doing well for PMDG's precises aircraft :)

Wait so getting shot down by a missile while on approach to Heathrow is unrealistic????

Hehe, never got over that. That was the first and last time I ever ran FSPax.

Now it's just me, myself and I sitting in that virtual plane :P

It works, but you have to disable the fuel/payload options.

I use FSPax for the cabin announcements and to file PIREPs for my VA. Works great for just those two things.

Yes, I'm the first to be surprised still using FSPax, but I hate that dead silent a/c. Not to say that FSPax support is dead for years.

@aipongress, yes, the solution of payload disable, is one solution, but I'll try to find some trick when I got the beast.

Yeah, that's a little odd sometimes.  FS2Crew is probably a good add-on to fix that, and millions of times more realistic and worthwhile, to be honest.  It'll be out after release.
