September 3, 201312 yr Hi all, Was just reading through a couple of things and looking at the PMDG facebook page. I noticed on the FMC in a picture the AIRAC cycle was 1309. I bought 1308 for the NGX recently, so worst comes to the worst I can just use that cycle for the T7. But I was wondering, does anyone know if 1309 will be the cycle they use for the 777? I personally think it would be a little harsh to use the rather old cycle default in the NGX for the T7 Thanks Anthony Bayley (P1)
September 3, 201312 yr 1309 is in this moment the most recent AIRAC cycle, it works for all PMDG aircraft, 1308 was the last month cycle and it's outdated now. The AIRAC cycle is released once per month, so if you bought last month you have to buy it again for this month, but is more simple if you buy 1 year subscription at www.navigraph.com (and cheaper than buying once per month) Jason Cardeira
September 3, 201312 yr AIRAC cycles are named after the month (roughly, there's 13, they last 28 days each) and the year. The year comes first, month second, so 1309 is the 9th month of year 13 ... no not 13 AD, at the height of the rule of Augustus Caesar, but 2013 ... of course there was once a 9913 which would have been followed by 0001, but I digress. AIRAC 1309 is valid for September 2013. ... which would be current as of today. September 3, 201312 yr I think he knows, but wants to know if he can get Sept. free, should it ship with the T7 Yours trulyBoaz FraizerCopenhagen, Denmark
September 3, 201312 yr Author Hi all, Yup, WindshearDK is correct, I am aware that my AIRAC cycle is outdated at the moment, but I generally only update it twice to 3 times a year so as not to get confused if atc on vatsim give me a SID that I don't have or something like that ; I was wondering whether 1309 will come with the T7 Anthony Anthony Bayley (P1)

This is what they have done with previous products; they include the current cycle at the time of release (not of purchase). Andrew Jones Andrew Jones
September 3, 201312 yr Commercial Member But I was wondering, does anyone know if 1309 will be the cycle they use for the 777? Nah, they're gonna release it with the old cycle so that you have to go back and re-run the new cycle's installers... Kyle Rodgers
September 3, 201312 yr I bought Aerosoft for PMDG and PFPX - working like a charm. Recommend.... - Luke Pabari
September 4, 201312 yr Nah, they're gonna release it with the old cycle so that you have to go back and re-run the new cycle's installers... Not such a ridiculous question actually...PFPX released with an AIRAC from March, 6 months old. Yeah. AJ Pongress
September 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member Not such a ridiculous question actually...PFPX released with an AIRAC from March, 6 months old. Yeah. It is kind of ridiculous...when was the last time PMDG released something with an old cycle? PFPX is a different developer. Kyle Rodgers
September 4, 201312 yr It is kind of ridiculous...when was the last time PMDG released something with an old cycle? PFPX is a different developer. As famous as PMDG is, not everyone is familiar with them or their business practices. AJ Pongress
September 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member As famous as PMDG is, not everyone is familiar with them or their business practices. True, but again, I'd honestly consider it ridiculous to release a product with outdated data. That makes no sense at all and really just opens them up to criticism. Look no further than PFPX...
