September 4, 201312 yr Hi Guys, Anybody know how to quiet this alarm? did my first flight yesterday and it went off when i disengaged the autopilot and i couldnt find where to make it shut up!! The only way it went quiet is if i engaged the AP again Thanks for the help

September 4, 201312 yr Happened to me as well. I'm sure folks on the ground could hear me coming a mile away. Apparently, the answer lies in the options menu and resettable alarms. Have yet to try it myself and unfortunately don't have manuals handy to confirm. But I'd start there. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

September 4, 201312 yr Ctrl-shift-z is the soft autopilot disconnect. First operation disconnects and second silences audible. Similar to NGX, R/W Airbus etc. Change the key assignment in the CDU key assignment dialogue if required. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
