Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Anybody know how to quiet this alarm? did my first flight yesterday and it went off when i disengaged the autopilot and i couldnt find where to make it shut up!!

The only way it went quiet is if i engaged the AP again

Thanks for the help

Take a stroll through the introduction manual, the answer is in there.

Ctrl-shift-z. Shuts it up. I am not sure if that is the official method though.

Why not give us the answer?

Happened to me as well. I'm sure folks on the ground could hear me coming a mile away. Apparently, the answer lies in the options menu and resettable alarms. Have yet to try it myself and unfortunately don't have manuals handy to confirm. But I'd start there.

Cheers,

Please read the introduction. One way is to press the yoke button.

Ctrl-shift-z is the soft autopilot disconnect. First operation disconnects and second silences audible. Similar to NGX, R/W Airbus etc.

Change the key assignment in the CDU key assignment dialogue if required.

Why not give us the answer?

Because the manuals are there for a reason. There's a LOT of other useful stuff in there, waiting for you to discover it.

Why not give us the answer?

Because it's already provided in the intro manual.

...that manual was written so people don't have to answer the same 30 questions here on the forum all day.
