Motoring the engine?
deltapilot replied to delta9857's topic in PA46T Malibu JetProp HD Series FSX | P3D
You're only going to see slow prop movement on x-plane 10. Not every prop either. I personally saw this on Carenado C208 for XP10. -Tristan -
Indeed the Jetprop is a lite version. Well above Wilco but just below Milviz. We can only be grateful that a Jetprop that fakes it until it makes it is given to us. Carenado CAN make a V2 but then buyers would complain on paying an additional fee if they charged an arm for the V2. -Tristan

LOL I saw the topic and instantly said to myself "Mind they're gonna have their ways with this guy! Its 2013 and this question is still being asked?
-
no charts option. If you can't fly without a chart display in the cockpit I suggest you stick to CS 777.
-
If you have Rex it maybe your Rex lighting settings.
-
On my way to Miami from Anchorage. I saw alot of 777 on VATSIM earlier.
-
If you are having transmitting problems, you need to select the Comm1 selector which displays a yellow light signaling its on. Otherwise go through Radio option in Squawkbox and verify whether its on or not.

Yes, I know I'm beating a dead horse with a bat over and over again. Some flight sim enthusiasts and I are planning to put together a $ pot to "donate" to the team in faith we withing a year or three lol get a 717. Our take is its really a baby replica of the MD11 (who's modifications are ceased) and YES I am aware Many Many differences as well (for the trolls). We will not collect from online individuals but will see how far it goes. Some times asking and asking isn't the key sometimes you have to ACT until.... Yes 5 years down the line it happens. Wish us luck. QantasLink 13+5, Blue1 9, Volotea 9+6. Turkmenistan Airlines 7, AirTran 88 (to sublease to Delta) Hawaiian 18. The Few...The Proud....The 717 (MD95)

The first NG: Southwest N707SA (new repaint)
deltapilot replied to JokersWild's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
The first 737-700/NG to be built and Lookin' Good!-Tristan. -
The -600's has the same fuselage as the -500 and is waaay better on fuel as well so hopefully if phased out they replace them with the -600. Yeah the -700's has gasper fans as seen on airliners dot net under "southwest 737-700 cockpit" dated april and july 2011. As for economics not sure how much more efficiency gasper fans have overall then again maybe your right about it being economical. The AirTran 737-700's does not have it installed so not sure if they're going to phase them out or installed them on their acquired NG's. I sent a request for the PMDG team to implement a gasper fan option which hopefully we can expect maybe next year or so since they have more serious projects to tend to. Great point of views tho.-Tristan

The first NG: Southwest N707SA (new repaint)
deltapilot replied to JokersWild's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Thanks Chris, any heads up on the avionics you used? Old EFIS style or PFD/ND?-Tristan -
I can understand changing the -700 avionics package to reflect RNP ops along with A/T and Autobrake Testing but I cant figure out why they 1. Still have a gasper fan Along with a RECIRC Fan and why their -500's aren't updated with winglets nor expected to have upgraded avionics as the -300's are scheduled for. If anyone knows the answers to this I would appreciate it. Tristan.
-
The Old Classic repaint which was recently added to the list of liveries is inaccurate. Southwest did switch over to PFD/ND however they kept the analog backup gauges, only has HYD QTY/PRES display under SYS and are ANP/RNP capoable with the readout along with no range arcs. The Southwest "Bags fly for free" & Canyon Blue are without a doubt a reflection of the carrier's manuals. Hopefully the Classic livery gets fixed.Tristan.

PMDG 737-600/700 NGX Expansion Available
deltapilot replied to rsrandazzo's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Does anyone know if carriers today are phasing out the gasper fan addition their 737-700's. Southwest still has the gasper fan which to my knowledge started on the 737-1/200 due to the lack of a re-circulation fan. I'm curious as to the phasing out or not to determine if its something we can look forward to having especially on hot days! Maybe a release of its addition next summer? :) Thanks again for the NGX!Tristan -
Ok I submitted a ticket and figured out how to locate the DLL.xml so please disregard hopefully it gets fixed.
-
Ryan,Is it a dll.xml caused by SP1? Base Package has the text font on the HUD SP1 takes it away. I just want to make sure exactly. Oh and the dll.xml is that the PMDG_737NGX.dll?Tristan
-
Same problem here and the options are enabled. Im glad im not alone on this issueTristan
-
The HGS Works on the base pack Install but once SP1 is installed the text is gone even in the -700 Expansion as well. I tried the brightness, mode panel nothing. :( Guess I can submit a ticket but Im sire im not the only one hopefully someone can figure out why. Tristan
