Im not, read what I wrote, why should I be scared? Nothing bad has happen to my install when I put FTX Global on my system, and nothing bad happend when I removed it....What goes on under the hood I don't care about, because it works.

 

I don't care if they wiped their custom files up in the as.... and it had a stinking odour, as long as the SIM works without any problems after installing their sceneries....

You did uninstall FTGX? Pretty amazing! Did you have all the GEX texures back after the uninstall?

Whats, so amazing about that? Just used the unistaller, voila, back to default FSX... I don't have GEX installed, but If I wanted I could install it after FTX Global was removed. Having them booth at the same time won't work obviously...

 

Im actually scared to try and install GEX, because last time I tried 1,5 years ago it screwed up FSX, had to reinstall everything....

You really succeeded to screw up a GEX install. That's pretty amazing - Tell us more about that ;-)

Runned the installer like I always do with everything I install, voila, FSX got fuc.ed up. End of story -_-

I have almost every addon released for FSX to this date, and all those addons works perfectly in combination with FTX Regions and FTX Global in hybrid mode(UTX also under the hood).

I think Orbx has too many fanbois who kiss the ground those guys walk on even before they try the patch.  There does seem to be a lot of "active" orange labels over there today. They all must have taken the day off.

Perhaps, it's because they have a LOT of products, many new releases this week, and a lot of people buying them.  some of the posts are feature requests,  one guy is asking how to install UTX for petes sake.  show me a company with a quiet support forum, and I'll show you a company about to go under.
