I think you haven't applied the UIAutomationCore.dll fix.

You don't need it, that is fix for Windows 7. You have XP listed in your profile

Hi thanks simpson2 to answer me.

So can you tell me how to do that ?

Open up the PMDG 777 Introduction PDF that gets installed when you install the T7 and go to page 15.

This aircraft does not officially support Windows XP and this was made very clear on the purchase page. It is honestly amazing to me how many XP users are just ignoring that warning and buying it anyway. It is a 12 year old OS that Microsoft themselves and many hardware manufacturers are ending support for. It's memory management and limitations are horrible for an application like FSX with high end addons.

I have no idea if the fixed dll will work with this or not - the dll is from Vista 32 and it may not even execute/load on XP. Try it if you like, but the true solution is going to be upgrading to Windows 7, we are not going to waste time trying to fix issues with XP. (especially when it's a Windows/FSX problem that we can't even fix)

For fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

You should really change the topic name to "Your own bug" as you haven't read the product description properly.

Nowhere in it says that XP is supported.

Read it again:

(older OSes such as Windows XP, 32-bit OSes, and Windows 8 may work, but we cannot guarantee compatibility or support)

I'm really amazed that people come here and start topic called "PMDG 777 bug" and expect support when the problem is really caused by their own actions within FSX or OS...

Don't expect PMDG to solve your problems if you are using OS that really isn't supported. That's your own problem then, not PMDG or anybody else.

PMDG 777 "bug"? Seriously?

do not be angry PMDG support :) i new i was juste a question , excuse my english i'm a french user of your product from paris

He isn't angry. Just annoyed that someone has bought their product without properly reading the requirements. Also, while you were asking a question, you called it a bug - whereas it's actually your own fault; but English isn't your first language so that let's you off somewhat (but, unfortunately, it's still your own fault).

If I am not mistaken, there were enough posts here long before it even reached beta stage that PMDG would not be going down that 2D route.Besides, there are psuedo-2D options available.

Why the surprise? This is human nature. Instead of reading a 163-page manual, posters opt for the easier way of asking here in the hope that somebody will have done their work for them. The least, we ought to hold hope for is that they'd try a Tutorial.

Maybe i'm not a "human" then :D It only requires so little effort...

That 160-odd page introduction manual isn't even the proper full manual, but just a very brief introduction. I have very little respect and understanding for people who buy it and post a support question which is answered in that introduction.

The proper FCOM 1 is nearly 1200 pages.

The best part about the Intro Manual is that one does not have to go hunting for it buried deep in other sub-folders. PMDG made it so easy to find sitting in the Start Menu Ops Center. All I do is keep it in the taskbar as I'm preparing the aircraft and en route. Any queries I have, I just refer to it. It's like having a QRH handy. Maybe that's just the way I make life easier for myself.
