There's one for V1 which can be easily converted... The conversion kit is included with the pack of repaints iirc...

Thanks, I have downloaded and installed 2 version (old and new) of the V1 Buffalo repaints from flightsim.com.  Just needed a few minor tweaks of the aircraft.cfg sections.

1) I cannot get the engines started, even with battery in green (24 volts).

I had the same problem.  Go here for the fix.  http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?82973-C-47-from-Manfred-Jahn-and-team/page8.

Start at the bottom of page 8 and finish on page 9.  This solution worked for me, maybe it will work for you.

I didn't see anything on the pages you listed, but on page 13 mjahn gives the most useful information:

Hover the mouse over the starter cell in the Control Panel p. 2 and you'll get tips on what is needed (Primer? Ignition?) or what went wrong (mixture, throttle? flooding?)

The Starter cell is third row down on the far right, usually says OFF.  Hover the mouse over that to get the info you need.

In my case, I got #2 started with no problem, but nothing I did would get #1 going.  Even control-E didn't work.  It turns out that control-E sets the mixture to full rich and I was at an airport about 3000 feet.  The tool tip said "mixture too rich".  There's a LOT of information available there for starting woes.

Also, when manually starting the engines, middle click on the starter button.  This will keep it depressed until either the engine starts or you click it again... may need a left click to turn it back off.

What an amazing aircraft.  I avoided it because it had a "modern" cockpit, but this doesn't mean someone replaced everything with glass.  I figured with a vintage cockpit on the way I might as well try it out with the default, and I'm glad I did.  Only a couple of minor tweaks and it's a joy to fly.  I can't recommend it enough.  The quality is well above much of the payware out there, and it's free!
