The Garmins are switched by right clicking. If you do Ctrl+shift+F4 and Shift E a few times, the engines eventually turn over. There's a great step by step engine start "how to" in the manual. Otherwise, load a plane with engines on first.

Hard to believe gmail is not a valid email address, maybe not valid for SOH but . . .everywhere else in the world.

We are not a large site with many staff to deal with attacks such as denial of service etc. and valid Outlook/ Outlook express/ Windows mail addresses are easier to police.

Just a follow-up.  I installed V2 with the texture basepack and the sound package.  I think this is one fine airplane and thanks to everyone who worked on it.  This really fills a missing gap for me.  A big thanks to Manfred Jahn,  Alexander M. Metzger, Ted Wolfgang, and anyone else who worked on this package.

 

Also thanks to all of the wonderful repaints.  Thanks to all of the people who spend what I assume is a great amount of time working on these different skins, especially to jankees!

I agree, thank you Jankees for the repaints (specially for the Air Atlantique and Bush Air Cargo). More reapints coming??

Hi Peter,

You should be ok now. We have been seeing exceptional server loads and the forums have been turned off from time to time but try later and you should be able to post.

Forums are back up again now and hopefully will stay up.

Looks like the SOH forum is badly hacked since yesterday...

My deapest sympathy goes to the webmaster in charge.... Good luck (my day job is webmaster, i see a lot of ugly things in my logs, some kid hackers are really nasty these days, to put it midly...)

There was a note on the Flightsim forum about SOH suffering from a bad software upgrade - hopefully that is the problem instead of a hack attack (which apparently has taken out some VA sites) - when users click on the VA site they get a message "HACKED by xLitleonZ Big thanks to : Allah SWT Indonesian cyber army". Douche nozzles...

Just checked at flightsim.com and it's not there yet, though some repaints are.  Manfred's older aircraft are available there.  Maybe if challenges continue at SOH he'll be moved to post elsewhere, but I can't swear to that - am just speculating.

Thanks for looking Alan, I'll have to keep my eyes out since I haven't managed to find it on any of my regular haunts yet. I may pick up some repaints in to tide me over for now though!

Manfred and team have specified that it's not to be uploaded anywhere else, so I'm guessing you'll have to wait.... :-(
