Hey, thanks for the reminder.  I had downloaded that ages ago, but for some reason I never got around to installing it.  It does do a nice job filling in the gaps.

... phew ... finally the computation part of HD Mesh Scenery v2 is more or less over (maybe some tiny corrections needed here and there). I have now started testing it, and will continue to do so in the coming days / week (depending on how much time "real life" leaves for this - sometimes not so much) ... which brings us one step closer to release.

After fiddling around to understand better how things work, I finally decided to add some very carefully selected freeware mods. Work in progress. And staying away from OSM stuff.

Not that much. I am being careful about my framerate! But after playing around for a while, I knew exactly what I wanted: Remember I am an X-plane10 noob though, so I'm open to better suggestions...........
