Boeing 777 take-off performance tool

Featured Replies

He wasn't posting in anger, and he wasn't saying PFPX was going to do performance calcs.

From what I can tell, he was attempting to compare the two stories on how one said "soon," and that definition of soon was a lot longer than most had expected.  Similarly, AuraSim said "soon," and it's a lot longer than many have expected, too.

That's all.

Well... in the same fashion as AirSimmer was to release the A320 full version "soon" - I would say.

Kyle was right on the money with what I meant about PFPX.

Just checked and there´s a new Beta version of Topcat with the 777. Haven´t downloaded it since I don´t own the 777 yet (just came back to simming after 3 long years away). But judging from that the alpha version might indeed soon be available. In the meantime what have you guys been doing to calculate TO performance? I won´t buy the bird without being able to realistically dispatch a flight. What´s a couple more months to one who´s waited ever since the good ol PSS T7 days back in 2002...

Cheers,

Hi Victor,

The Topcat 777 profile (Beta) seems to be working quite well:) That connected to PFPX and we have a winner! :)

Hello,

I made a couple of flight no problems so far, speeds are matching for takeoff performance without issue. I made quite a lot of short flight recently, so with good Derate and assumed temperature it makes the climb much more manageable, reducing the monstruous thrust of the two engines :)

Great addition.
