How can I get these two working guys?

1. Consult pages 9 and 18 of EZCA's User Manual (ignore the fact that it is labelled for version 1.15.1)

 

2. View the following video available on EZdok's Forum:

3. If the latest TIR driver/software doesn't work for you, download the previous version (the latest version doesn't work for everyone for some reason)

You might need this file too which is a P3D compatible version of the main exe.

EZDok, Version 5 of TrackIR. When TrackIR looks for a game, instead of it looking for P3D it finds EZDok and it is that that makes TrackIR work in P3D. I've not tried to get it working without EZDok as I lose far too much functionality.

Hmm, would like to know if Track IR works as a standalone if anyone is doing it.

Your exe.xml file has <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> in it.  Are you sure that's correct?  dll.xml is a completely different file.

Try it, change the name to exe.xml if it doesn't work.

 

Edit: that's exactly what my FSX exe.xml looks like, I imagine it doesn't really matter as long as the actual file name is correct.

That's every step, there are no more detailed instructions. If you already have EZDok and TrackIR working in FSX then it should just work in P3D once you follow the simple steps above. If you don't have FSX installed then sorry I can't help you.

Me too.  I have:

Created an EXE.xml file in AppData/Roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3d v2/ and it looks exactly like above (tried both exe.xml and dll.xml in the filename prameter)

 

EZDok doesn't load when I load P3D like it does when I load FSX and it doesn't appear in the Addons menu.

 

Do I need to run the config tool some way like you do with FSX?  If so how is that done?

Navigate to the EZCA folder shown earlier in the thread and once P3D is running start the EZCA.exe directly by double clicking on it, does EZDok load now?

The config tool won't work in P3D that's why you have to manually edit the aircraft.cfg to add the 201 camera definition. You need to do that with every aircraft you intend to use with EZCA.

I found the problem.  The patched EZCA.exe had not extracted to the right place so it was trying to load the old one still.
