Hmm, would like to know if Track IR works as a standalone if anyone is doing it.

It works standalone for me, I didn't have to do anything, it "just works". Using v5.2.2 of the software.

Steve

I have 5.2.2 already and it didn't work out the box so to speak, it wasn't until I enabled EZDok as detail earlier in the thread that it did start working. That's probably because I had removed the simconnect.dll files form the TrackIR folders as instructed when you install EZDok.

Cheers, Andy.

EZCA looks very interesting, I may have to get that!

Steve

I have done all these things and it still doesn't work. I had trackIRv5.1, tried it and it didn't work so I upgraded and it still doesn't work. Not sure what to do at this point. I'm thinking of reinstalling Prepar3d 1.4 and getting it to work with that and seeing if it will work.

I'm having issues getting this to work correctly. I've added the lines needed both in the aircraft.cfg file aswell as exe.xml file. I can move the camera around just fine, but when i save the camera position it doesn't work when i try to switch to it. It will make the click sound when you change views but it just kicks me back to the default view. Hopefully that made sense? This applies to any aircraft i try it with if it matters.

Can't seem to get this working either. (Had both working fin in FSX)

No Ezdoc option in the in game Add-ons menu.

Launching EZCA.exe from my desktop after starting P3d yields a pop up text box titled Ezdoc Camera Addon with a message inside saying, "FSX process not found. FSX_Handle: 0"

Got any ideas?

So ezdok works with p3d 2.0? I could never get this working before. I am using the latest version 1.17. Will it work with this version?

You need the beta version of EZDok that recognises the P3D.exe, it's in post #4 in this thread. Simply place the file EZCA.exe (inside the download) into the main EZDok program folder replacing the original file.

Cheers, Andy.

TrackIr 4 and 5 are running without any change in configuration or installing EZDok.

Michael

Rodger, got it working now, THANK YOU :clapping:

One thing you learn on a rebuild or reinstall is what your priority applications are. Ezdoc and Track IR were next on the "must get to function" list right after FSUICP went in.

On my side TrackIR is not working "out of the box". It works fine in FSX but not in P3D2.

I don't run EZDok or any other camera tool. So I have no idea why... Any ideas?

Some uses are reporting the latest TIR drivers not working; you may want to try a different one. I don't know if it will help in your case but it's worth a shot.

If the latest TIR driver/software doesn't work to you

That should have read ". . . doesn't work for you . . . " Strange that posts can't be edited after a while!

HI JJ unrelated to the original topic but the reason you can't edit a post I believe is because someone else has already quoted it. Once someone quotes your post I think you lose the ability to go back an edit it.
