  1. With this i'm seeing the default XP 430, and not the RXP one installed. Guess i did something wrong? Or are you using the RXP as a pop-out window?
  2. Hi Jean-Luc Just tested the airports that previously didn't activate the LPV. They now all work correctly! Great work 😀
  3. I'm also seeing this problem. Tried RNAV approaches across multiple airports in EU and they are all seen as LNAV by the 530.. Changed from the default 2009 database to a more "recent" 2015 one and no change.. Airports in USA works correctly however..
  4. This has been a known issue with P3D for a very long time now. I've also tried every 'tweak' out there with the same result. Even with no addons installed the default scenery loads in at such a slow pace that you can see the textures becoming more 'crisp' the closer you get. It's very jarring and extremely annoying when flying low and slow. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed with a future update. For now i've put P3D on the shelf - it's that annoying of a problem.
  5. Unfortunately not. I've got it working now by re-installing P3D into a proper folder instead of directly on my G drive. This was my fault, not vox's EDIT : He did say use version 6.50, not 6.51!
  6. Hello. I'm having issues with the indexer tool. It hangs at "G:\System Volume Information" Using P3D 2.5 and VoxATC 6.50 I have my copy of P3D directly installed to G:\ Drive, it's not in a folder. I'm thinking that could have been the problem but after creating a folder and moving every file in it and re-running the indexer it still hangs at the same location. Any ideas guys? Been doing google searches all day coming up empty. Sent Tegwyn an e-mail for assistance.
  7. Thanks! Having the same problem. Will wait for the update
  8. I did a full re-install.
  9. That's weird. SweetFX is working fine on my end with 2.3. Don't know if it's of any help but i used this guide to get it working : http://forum.avsim.net/topic/429301-a-guide-how-to-sweetfx-flightfx-for-prepar3d-v2-injection/ Hopefully that helps somehow.
  10. yikes that looks amazing! Is the P3DV2 version out or are you using other methods to install it?
  11. I'm getting an error trying to install the patch. "Prepar3D was unable to load some program files and will now exit" Any one else had this error?
  12. Yes, absolutely! I'm hoping that one day we can have it working within P3D.
  13. Great news, thank you very much!
  14. Hi My VOXATC for the most part works OK. Sometimes out of the blue however it'll give me a "FATAL ERROR". This can happen whilst on the ground, or up in the air. Haven't been able to find a pattern in the errors. This was a problem for me in FSX, but now also in P3D V2.2. It doesn't matter where in the world i fly it will still crash on me every now and then. This can be very frustrating having to restart it and the ATC doesn't pick up on my location (still talks to me as if i was on the ground at the starting location) Is there a error log located somewhere that might hold some clues as to why it so randomly crashes? Using the latest version 6.34 with P3DV2.2
  15. Found a work around. Not really convenient but it works. Let the game load into the flight, then plug the monitor in.
  16. Uhm.. Was this fixed in either 2.1 or 2.2? It's still giving me "Fatal Error" once i hit "Fly Now". Un-plugging the USB monitor cures this..
  17. For now, default airports. I will be installing Aerosoft's Gardermoen 2.0 later today. I remember in version 2.0/2.1 it was fairly hard to get accurate FPS shown due to my game OOM'ing every time i was taxing down to the runway. From watching/reading comparison benchmarks between the two. The 780 beats the 7970. That was the 3GB 7970 edition however, not sure how the 6GB VaporX fares vs the 780. Guessing the 780 still wins
  18. My bad! I forgot to mention that i'm also using FS Global Ultimate Mesh. ENGM-ENBR is the route i fly the most when testing different settings. Not too short, nor too long Should also have mentioned this, sorry! I am NOT using ANY tweaks what-so-ever. It's all default. Traffic is set to zero due to the FPS hit it gives me (tried with 20%Airline 15%GA). It's not quite as high of an impact as the clouds, but it's noticeable. I do not use Vatsim/Ivao. I'm a rookie and would rather not ruin someone's day on there by messing up, lol Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know. I could do some more thorough tests of certain things you'd wish to know
  19. Do you know what that entails? I run a triple-monitor setup with a 7970 6GB VaporX (5760x1080). I'm able to max most sliders except the cloud shadow one with acceptable FPS (19-40 depending on the area) when flying in good weather conditions. Throw in a few layers of clouds and it'll tank down to 10-15 FPS. Here are my exact settings/addons used if it's of any help : FXAA : Off MSAA : None Texture Filtering : 16x Texture Reso : Ultra 4096 Target Frame Rate : Unlimited Tessellation : On LoD Radius : Max Tess Faction : High Mesh Reso : 1m Texture Reso : 7cm Land Detail Textures : On Scenery Complexity : Extremely Dense Autogen Veg : Very Dense Autogen Building Density : Very Dense Water detail : High No reflections Special Effects : Medium Lens flare : On HDR : On Shadow map count : High Enable Terrain to receive shadows : On Terrain Shadow Cast Distance : 0m Cloud Shadow Cast distance : 20.000m Object Shadow Cast Distance : 6,000m Internal Vehicle : Cast/Receive Vegetaion : Cast/Receive. Cloud Draw Distance : 80m Detailed Clouds Cloud coverage Density : Max Traffic Sliders : 0 Addons used : FTX Global, FTX Vector, Rex4 Tex Direct, OpusFSX, Majestic Dash 8 q400. PC specs in profile For now i'll only be flying in fair weather conditions until i can figure out what's up with the clouds murdering my frames.

It does really make a huge difference. I've yet to find the right balance on my machine where i can have them turned on without my machine melting down on me, and not having to sacrifice much else eyecandy. One day i shall have shadows too!
  21. Installed this with the Migration tool. I'm having serious stutters. It works, just not very comfortable to fly
  22. Thank you for updating MCE to work with P3DV2
  23. Yep! Awaiting official P3DV2.1 compatible version Can't wait!
  24. Hello. Are there any plans to include P3DV2.1 as a supported platform for FS2Crew? Itching to try this out. Heard some have gotten it to work for them by fiddling around with the files. I'd rather not though. Much prefer official support  EDIT : Guessing it's not as easy since you'd probably need for the aircraft addon makers to have their plane working correctly first within P3DV2.1 before you apply your magic?
  25. Syonco replied to a post in a topic in The Prepar3d Forum
The stuttering is clearly visible for me aswell, it's quite bad actually.
