Well be sure to read the flight manual first..ask me how I know..

You should really set your start locks when shutting down :P. Nice shots.

Hehe still learning how to operate the aircraft Propane.

Still studying the manual as I don't have any experience operating Garrets or a J32 for that matter.

LeeL, this bare metal scheme came with the package.

This is the first payware addon I have for XP10 and it's better and more in depth systems wise than any turboprop I have in FSX.

Glad you guys liked the shots!

Don't let it be your last, there are a few must-haves in my book.

Something about xplane that I can't get past is how dark it is. All the blacks are clipped and there isn't much high dynamic range.

That funky gloomy dark lighting is what initially put me off from previous versions of X-Plane but in the sim I really don't notice it.

The real reason I got into XP10 was the night lighting. It is surreal and makes the sim a keeper for me. Super realistic.

With more third party support XP could really be the sim to have in the future.

XP-10 vs FSX default out of the box- it's no contest. XP blows FSX out of the water.

The third party devs are what has made FSX and FS9 the excellent sims that they are.

Do/did you have the PMDG Jetstream 41 in FSX? Because although the J32 in X-Plane is a great graphical depiction of the aircraft, systemwise it's not all that accurate and in-depth and performance is quite a bit off from actual performance. In my experience, the best turboprop experience is to be had with the JS41 or Dash 8 in FSX right now.

(No flame or stepping on toes intended, I've used both FSX and X-Plane, both have their advantages and drawbacks).

I never did have the PMDG Jetstream but I've only heard good things about it.

I too was a little put off by the darker tones of X-Plane. Eventually, I got used to it, but the great news for me was that SkyMAXXX Pro completely healed that little illness. It brightened everything up. SMP is easily a must-have for any XP10 installation.

Great shots! :)
