Does anyone know how to reset the hud before starting the next leg?  I have landed, and I wish to continue on with my next leg...but the hud is still in the autoland approach mode.

HUGS Control panel on the pedistal - Top Left button 1 press should switch out of AIII

 

Change Navigation radios to a non-ILS frequency. ie, even number (00 or 20 or 40 or 60 or 80) after the decimal point, and a number higher than 112 before the decimal point. eg: 116.20

 

This will disconnect any ability to pick up an ILS signal, which should force it out of Aiii

Thanks.  I'll give that a try next time.  I do not see the button you are referring to.  I see two toggle switches above the cargo fire arm switches.

Thanks Kyle. Its amazing, you give them a 70 million dollar aircraft and the first thing they ask is how to open the door. Despite the 70,000kgs of manuals and guides. Funny, I spent my New Years bored because I didn't bring my 777 manuals with me on my tablet to peruse whilst watching the lake at Queenstown. Oh well..

Think you missing  kyles  sense of  humour  here lol, guess you have  to be  around here awhile on his take on things,  if your on a pc  than your able  to view the manuals  that came with the t7,  and if you know how  to use the search feature, it  takes you around  2 or 5  minutes to find what your  searching  for.

Realistic simulation = realistic learning. You cant just jump in and hit the TOGA switches.
