May 2, 201412 yr Just had an email from FSGenesis advertising their limited time Spring Sale, which at up to 60% off seems a good buy. Installed in FSX I have UT USA and UT Canada plus US West coast Orbx scenery. Question is will FSGenesis ALL N.AMERICA mesh be compatible. Reading through some forums, it would seem that Justin Tyme is no longer "FSGenesis" and is now run by a Company in Utah, but their web page doesn't show any screenshots etc.,to compare. I have FSG installed with FS9, but as things have moved on since then, I would appreciate any helpful views. Regards Echofox

May 5, 201412 yr Does anyone know if the Galaxy "lifetime" program for downloads is still in effect ? David Hinson
May 5, 201412 yr The new owners cancelled the Galaxy "lifetime" program. So don't depend on terms and conditions or being able to get the product again at a later date. They'll just do what they want when they see fit. But if you get the download and make a backup and are happy with it and can live without upgrades if they come out then it could be a good deal. For me it's not just the money it's the bad taste in my mouth when I think of FS Genesis. But that's my problem, don't let it deter you...

May 6, 201412 yr So much for "lifetime" memberships, but I can understand. They are not the only company to do this. Dave David Hinson
May 9, 201412 yr Looking back at my post I might have been a little harsh as clearly there were struggles with that business model. However, it could have been handled a lot differently, i.e. contacting the Galaxy lifetime members and explaining the situation, not having them find out by having to submit a help desk ticket.
May 9, 201412 yr Moderator I was an early "Galaxy Membership" adopter. I long ago got far more than full value for what it cost. I knew even then that this business model could have only one inevitable outcome. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
