Any idea why the horse has eyes like that?  Creepy indeed.  Nice shots but I'm never flying through KDEN again

Wow, just looked this up on Google Maps and that's actually how the horse looks.  I didn't know they had put a horse statue up until this post and it does look creepy both in the real world and virtually...

As I mentioned on another site - you should see those eyes at night.  Especially a nice, stormy atmospheric night.  Yes, they light up.  Then you add in the fact that the sculptor was injured by a falling piece of said sculpture and died as a result of those injuries.  Super creepy.

 

Yet strangley, even though I shake my head every time I drive past it on the way to the terminal, it's become an integral part of the airport.  And it's not the only piece of "interesting" art at DIA either.

 

Nice images, BTW!  The new Flightbeam DIA is great.
