General PMDG 777 question

Featured Replies

Hello All,

These are general questions I want to ask that I've looked for, but have not received an answer or giving a confusing one.

I want to buy the PMDG 777 boxed version, since I don't trust online credit card paying..
Is there a store that delivers in India? Since I live there.
I would like to order the boxed product and pay on delivery, since, again, I don't trust credit cards (or have one)

Another thing, I want to install this product on multiple computers.. so that I can do LAN with my friends.
so far what I got was to submit a ticket and they would send a key to you. another was that they would charge

you for it for it, but not the full price. Which one is true?

Thanks for the help!

There is no Boxed version at the moment. You just have to trust PMDG's site with your Credit/Debit Card information.

You can only have 1 activation of PMDG 777 any one time. So at a LAN you need 1 serial key for each computer.

I doubt add-on developers will risk sending goods overseas without being paid for in advance.

I checked flightstore.uk, the PMDG 777 is there and would be realsed on 20th June this year.

Ok so that would be activiting the product on the same network, but it has to be connected to the internet right? pardon my ignorance..

Wait aren't they selling the NGX boxed on flightstore.uk? unless that's paid by credit card...

Also I don't know if they do Payment on Delivery..

FlightSim will deliver to India by airmail - however long that takes.

Would you accept payment of delivery without a guarantee of payment, especially to another country?

Information Security concerns?

Why not Paypal?

You can get prepaid cards, they're backed by credit card company's but are only worth the cash you activate it with.

Can't the courier company tell PMDG that the payment wasn't done, hence the product wasn't handed out?

Yeah,  and there isn't paypal here in India

I'm 16, so getting those will be hard haha

Who's going to pay PMDG's costs to wrap up the package and who will pay the courier company to deliver and return the package?

You're 16 so a little naive in the ways of the world. You can absolutely trust the security of online transactions, unless it's from a shady site, which PMDG or any of the several addon sites certainly are not. There are quite literally millions of safe online debit/credit card transactions every day around the world. Online transactions are the status quo in the modern world. No barter system online, no cod, none of that. If you want PMDG you're going to have to figure it out. Maybe get someone else to purchase for you with a debit/credit card or prepaid.

Alright mate, don't mean to cause out of hand arguments..

I can get my parents to do so, but convincing them is the problem. and personally where I live credit card transactions aren't the safest option, so we have cash on delivery. I saw the NGX on amazon, how about them.

I'm trying to leave the credit card/debit card the last option.

When you pay to PMDG on thier site it is completly safe.

If you don't have viruses on your computer. That's an other topic.

So just tell your parents to pay on the site with thier credit card. It's no problem.

Then you just download the software from the site and get the activation code in your e-mail. Easy.=)
