June 5, 201412 yr Getting a new computer that will run FSX. Looking at UT 2 or My Traffic 2013. What will have the least impact on frame rate? Any pros/cons on these? Greg Moore KFMH https://forum.pmdg.com/filedata/fetch?id=127275&d=1622041469&type=thumb

June 6, 201412 yr UT2 and Yes I also use UT2 and it has very little impact on frames +1 I'm using an old computer (I'll have upgrade in a couple of weeks) and I'm still amazed how well UT2 performs, way better than default AI, most of the time I have my UT2 traffic at 100%. John Miles
June 6, 201412 yr UT2 user here and quite satisfied. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
June 6, 201412 yr Ditto, and I use a handful of Woai cargo fleets...ie FedEx, ups I apologize for going off-topic, but I wanted to pass on a friendly reminder that AVSIM's signature rules have been changed. It is no longer allowed to have the computer and simulator specifications in your signatures. Please use the tabs provided in your profile instead. For further information please refer to the AVSIM signature rules which can be found at the top of every forum page or following this link: http://forum.avsim.net/page/AVSIM%20Pages/sig.html Thank you for your cooperation. June 7, 201411 yr How does U2T compare to woai in terms of performance, woai can be hard on frame rates given not all packages will adjust with the fsx traffic slider. Paul Dhanjal CYEG
June 7, 201411 yr I can tell you that my install of UT2 does give me a 2 or 3 fps hit. So I go from 30 fps down to 27 or 28 when the UT2 injects the AI traffic My airline traffic is set a 100%, GA traffic at 40%, so that's a pretty heavy load.
