Like / Dislike Ratings

I have been looking over the various rating for messages lately and have decided to remove the "like / dislike" ratings entirely.

are quite useless too !! B-)
I would not mind them gone.

Honestly I liked the rating system. It provided a more sanitary way of disagreeing with a person/topic without getting into the weeds and stepping on feelings. Now there will be more "quotes" with emotion interjected vice a simple dislike/disagree. I think it will only lead to more of the ole "This Topic Is Now Being Monitored by AVSIM". Let's not forget how enjoyable it is for some when a post they make receives numerous "likes" makes the effort in researching/creating/writing the post that much more worth it.
