Has Eaglesoft left the airspace?

Featured Replies

Purchased Eaglesofts DA42 for P3D and getting stutters so bad the sound even stops. (~1 sec intervals for about 1 sec each time). All other addons work just fine. (i7 3820 @ 4.3 Ghz and GTX780 ti) When trying to log on to the forums it turns out my access has been turned off.  So I followed instructions and sent them an Email asking for renew my access on MAY 23rd.  Hearing nothing from them in any form I again sent another email 6/2/14. Have they just left us with no support?

If I can't get support there has anyone had this problem with DA42 and P3d.  The way it is now its not even close to usable.  Help from the sidelines here?

They're around.  I saw a post today that they're going to be working on some more GA titles.  I don't have any of their airplanes yet but I'll be looking closely at their new stuff.

Something is definitely strange then. I'm seeing ~30fps consistently.

I have three of there planes now.  The way things are going it may be the last.

Just did another test.  Last one was a week ago.  I am not showing 30fps before it was showing @ 2-4FPS. But still getting stutters.  The sound is also stutter along with it.  I'm beginning to think the sound files are the problem.  I will do some tinkering to see if that is it.  BTW I have done nothing to have caused this change that I know of.

So it was NOT the sound files. Was worth a try.

Doubt it.  Ron is a frequent visitor to these forums.

I'm using the DA42, and Ron, Bill and Ed Wilson all helped me out when I had a problem with getting it to run.

I'm only having one problem (not FPS related); When using the DA42 for a flight, if I switch to another plane without exiting, P3D crashes.

I think I've pinned it down to the Mindstar Autopilot that comes with it, since the same thing happens to those using the Mindstar 430/530.

Correct Phil. The Mindstar KAP140 or G1000 may be slow to unload and cause issues when changing  aircraft.

We often have activation requests and registrations go south so if that's the case PM me here w/UN and we'll follow up.

No low FPS complaints will be supported. Local system and settings are beyond our control and we can't do housecalls or system tweaks.

To prove operation I could show the DA42 in P3D V2.2.1 at over 70 FPS but that won't help those who do not run the same hardware/software.

By the way we are nearing our next GA release for P3D V2 and I just test flew it at well over 100 FPS. B)
