Please look at some of the links in Jim's signature block.

Or at the Hot Spots on the right of the first post, it should say FSX/P3D Configuration Guide somewhere (one of the last lines of that block)

I've been using this tool for P3D 1.4 and 2.2 and for me the results were a noticable improvement. In my oppinion, if you're not that handy with all those tweaks and what they exactly do, it's worth a try.

I didint check the vSync option and set it to conservative, to answer your direct question.

However... I do side with the sceptical people above, like I said it's worth a try, the best way to approch tweaking is to learn about tweaks and test them on your system, one by one, and choose whats right for you and your system.

A personalized approach is always the best option to match the needs from which your system will benefit most.

Another thing, though. I dont know what sim you're using, but this is deffinately worth a try for P3Dv2 users. A couple of weeks ago I came across a post on the P3D forums, where someone came with a very daring idea: Completelly reset P3Dv2 and run with a clean (read non-tweaked) CFG-file. If you're using P3Dv2, I would certainly recommend trying this.

We're all so used to tweak our system that its very easy to immediatelly start adding tweaks because you know you need at least some and you probably already have your favorit list of tweaks ready to add. At least, I did... You know, those 3 or 4 basic tweaks you always had to add and you dont even concidder not adding anymore?

But I resetted my CFG-file and the only tweak I eventually added was an affinity mask, and of course every system if different, but for me not tweaking was the best tweak I added in a long time! ;)
