July 16, 201411 yr Thinking about getting this bird for P3Dv2. Can anyone confirm successful integration of the Flight1 GTN750 into the VC? Thanks! John Pipilas Win 10 - i7 2600k CPU - AMD Radeon R9 Fury X GPU
May 4, 201511 yr The B1900 is designed with GNS gauges in the panel.. How would you get a GTN gauge in there? Best you can do, is make the GTN screen appear in the GNS frame... not very appealing.. Bert
May 4, 201511 yr Hi Bert, I think it's better than nothing. If the screen fit well on the frame, would be nice, at least for me. Regards,
May 4, 201511 yr This will put it in place of the Avidyne: [Vcockpit05]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=1024,1024visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$Panel_5gauge00=EX500_1900D!EX500_config, 0, 0, 1, 1//gauge01=EX500_1900D!EX500_3D, 0,512, 513, 411gauge02=1900DKA!ToggleCARG500, 64,512, 448, 64gauge03=EFIS1900D!EFIS_3D, 0, 0, 512,512gauge04=GAUGE1900DEFIS!Gauge_EFIS84_EHSI_3D, 512, 0, 512,512gauge05=1900DKA!ToggleEFIS, 0, 0, 512, 512gauge06=1900DKA!ToggleAUTOPILOT, 512, 0, 512, 512gauge07=GAUGE1900D!Gauge_VSI_DIGITAL, 514, 513, 320,320gauge08=F1GTN!GTN750VC, 65,495, 383, 405,UNIT1 Bert
July 25, 20187 yr Using Bert's [Vcockpit05] panel.cfg suggestion I do find the GTN750 in the Avidyne frame but the colors are dim and, more importantly, the unit's click spots don't work. Has anyone else experienced this? What have I missed? Regards, Steve P. July 25, 20187 yr You can adjust VC cockpit brightness using the F1GTN config app. If you have instrument reflections set to on, turn them off, re clickspots on the GTN. Bert
July 26, 20187 yr Bert, I find that turning off the B1900D instrument reflections brightens the display but still no click spots. I have tried several adjustments of the eyepoint with no joy. Steve Steve, I no longer have the B1900 installed so cannot test this.. you may have to live with using the popup GTN for any interactions.. Possibly time to get another small commuter plane like the SF340, or the PC12, or C90GTX, all of which I have and which do work with a GTN 750. Bert
July 27, 20187 yr Hi Bert, I agree. I have some on my wish list. The B1900D is still a favorite. Thanks very much for your attention. Steve P. August 28, 20187 yr Anybody figure out how to get the 530 in the B1900? I can get the popup but the gauge in the VC stays blank
