September 6, 201411 yr Hello, I mean no act of any trolling or anything.. but may I ask how Angle of Attack passes off their "Trial", when at the end of the trial, you are forced to be charged with the full price of the product? I really love their videos, but am i reading this correctly? I was thinking of purchasing to learn more about them, but they should really offer like some sample videos instead of a trial that forces you to buy the whole thing at the end?? Thanks for your concern...
September 6, 201411 yr That's the idea of a trial - if you don't like it, you can delete it and pay nothing. If you like it and want to use it, then you pay. What is it your are really expecting? A trial that goes on for ever and the author makes no money? Would you go to work for free? What would you live on? September 6, 201411 yr Everything CAN be free... It's a matter of how much jail you get if caught : -) However, as a result of angle of attacks greedyness you must give your bank details before starting the trial which is unfair in my opinion and will automatically charge your card within a week unless you cancel, and this is the concern of the OP.
September 6, 201411 yr Depends on which side of the fence you sit on the customer or the author that produces these products whether being aoa or any other addons least they give free trials now I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
September 6, 201411 yr ...you are forced to be charged with the full price of the product? No one you forces to do anything. If you don't like the product then don't buy it. I really is that simple - it's not rockect science. Gerry Howard
September 6, 201411 yr The OP's point seems to be that the charge applies automatically once the trial period expires. I guess that this can be avoided by cancelling in time, but still it's different from the more usual practice of having the service expire automatically at the end of the trial rather than having the charge kick in. He would prefer that the onus be on him to renew/buy once the trial runs out, than to have to remember to cancel beforehand. I'd be inclined to agree.

IAN Hello, I wasn't meaning that, in order to sign up, you MUST give your credit card info out and here is what it says on the page: This is a trial. You will have limited access to the training. After 1 week, the training will automatically turn to the full version and charge your card. Its from my impression that that once you get the trial, you "Must" get the whole thing... Are you SURE you can cancel? That statement above says different to me. No one you forces to do anything. If you don't like the product then don't buy it. I really is that simple - it's not rockect science. I meant that they force you to get the full version AFTER the trial, read my quote from their page.. Thanks for the responses.

They do, states they will charge your card after a week of using the trial but you can however cancel. A demo is a demo but forcing a charge out of your card not to mention you must give your details is not very standard and thankfully rare. Are you SURE you can cancel? That statement above says different to me. I meant that they force you to get the full version AFTER the trial, read my quote from their page.. Thanks for the responses. According to this site it says you can cancel anytime, but if I were you I would be cautious: https://training.flyaoamedia.com/checkout/?pid=19

September 6, 201411 yr But Im pretty sure that you can only cancel AFTER you purchase.. cancel meaning they wont charge you again.. Well, I highly doubt it as such a practice would turn off a lot of potential customers and what they sell is basically videos. Somebody could cancel and then keep the videos after the purchase so I highly doubt they would allow such a flaw in their system. You're safe either way however, cancel before the purchase or cancel afterwards (highly unlikely) means you'll still get your money back should you not be satisfied with the product.

I think ill pass on it anyway, I don't want to give out my credit card info just for a trial... The PMDG manuals are good enough.

Fair enough, my bank doesn't even work for online purchases so it's an incredibly dumb practice. I hear the PMDG manuals are real as supplied by Boeing, and the amount of youtube tutorials made by real world 777 captains is inmense! Angle of attack are incredibly expensive and not even real airliner pilots. They just copied stuff over from the manual and compiled it into videos

Yeah, ill look on youtube.. thanks.

No one forces to force you to do anything, including charging your card. I read the Attack of Attack website and it didn't force me to do anything. Also the Angle of Attack site wording seems clear: Cancel Any Time Free 7 Day Trial $54.99 After Trial That seem clear cear - unless you expect to continue using it after the trial period?
